I did in order for my 2TB SSD Mushkin drives to show up in BIOS. **Q: Is there any way to be assured this board comes with a version 2 bios? i don't want to be stuck with unbootable system with my v4 xeon cpu** A: Unfortunately, there is no guarantee which bios will be on the board when shipped. Best thing to do is to purchase a cheap basic xeon chip used and boot with it if in doubt and then resell it when finished. I did this with a couple SuperMicro boards a little while back. **Q: Is this the bulk pack or retail version?
