## Description

Product Description The Case Medium Yellow CV Stockman with Sheepfoot Blade is a part of the Yellow CV Family. These work-ready, yellow synthetic knives are built for use all day long. Many prefer carbon steel for its edge holding ability. Stockmans pack three blades in a convenient but very practical pocket knife. This durable folding knife features a yellow synthetic handle with three full length blades, the clip blade, the sheepfoot blade and the spey blade. The bright yellow handle color will keep this Case Medium Stockman easily within your sight. The Clip and Sheepfoot blade sit on the pocket end while the spey blade sits on the cap end. The Clip blade is commonly used as a multi-purpose blade and preferred for detail work. The Sheepfoot blade allows for added strength at the point making it great for carving and achieving a clean cut. The Spey blade is commonly used as an all-purpose utility blade. This knife is constructed with our chrome vanadium (CV) steel. Some knife lovers will settle for nothing less than chrome vanadium blades, since this special formula of alloyed steel is the “original” Case blade steel. Case chrome vanadium blades are known for their edge-holding ability and easy re-sharpening. However, they are less resistant to rusting, pitting and discoloration than stainless steel. We recommend keeping a thin film of oil on the blade to maintain the finish. This ensures that your knife will be around for future generations to enjoy. This pocket knife is suitable for everyday demands, the outdoors, or hunting. Comes conveniently packaged in a box. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: is it made in the usa**
A: Yes they are

**Q: Is this knife have a high carbon content? I don’t consider it a good one unless it stains black after cutting a apple.**
A: I know there is enough carbon in the blades that the blades will turn darker when used on something that is acidic. Cutting an apple or soaking in vinegar will discolor the blades.

**Q: can i get this same knife with the Jesus fish on it.**
A: The best way to find out is to go to their website where all their knives are shown and you can see if the Icthus knife is available in the size and cover you desire.

**Q: what is the closed length?**
A: Of what item? If you are speaking about Case knives, you can get all that information on the Case website about all the knives they sell. Since i did not purchase the large knife but the medium Stockman, I can’t give you a correct measurement.
