IMPRESA Replacement Headgear Compatible with Resmed AirFit™ F20 (Large) Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask

I had one ResMed 10 that, after 4 years, was past the due date to be replaced but I had been putting it off because.....well I just put it off. Finally made up my mind to replace it and the prices I was seeing almost made me change my mind again. I found this on Amazon by accident and decided to give it a try and was very glad I did. I am very happy that find this is a perfect replacement for me with good fit and so far, after 3 weeks, no problems with the mask slipping around or the velcro coming loose during the night. Finally back to sleeping all night again and that's the best part! Will be buying another to have as back up!

I ordered this as an alternative to my Resmed AirFit F20 in order to save a few dollars. Don't do it! Just because something says it is compatible with something else doesn't always make it the best value! I might bring a 5 gallon bucket with a toilet lid camping because it is 'bathroom break' compatible... but that doesn't mean its a good substitute for an actual toilet! *shakes head* Anyways, first off my resmed mask requires magnetic holders on the lower straps. So I had to actually use the magnets from my old, stretched out headgear to make it truly compatible. Then secondly, all night long I kept waking up and having to undo the velcro and readjust because every... single.. time... I moved then the mask lost it's seal because the straps had no flexibility. I have an app that monitors my sleep patterns so that I can see how much deep rest I get. According to my app, I woke up approximately every 25 minutes last night to readjust my mask. So yeah, I am tired and cranky and upset with this product. I am also upset that I now have to use my old and stretched and worn out headgear from Resmed in order to actually get a decent amount of sleep until I can order something that doesn't carry the words: "compatible with" . So no, do not get this as you will regret it.

A lot of the critical reviews complain that this item is a knock off and thinner and this is all true. But if you have an extra large head like me i actually find these features to be more comfortable. The old head gear would strangle my head Velcro would constantly pop off and not hold properly. This new harness is a little bit larger then the official head gear and the Velcro patch is much larger and holds much better then the official head gear. Even if the official headgear was the same price i would pick this one every time.

At first, we felt this was a great fit and was comfortable for my husband to wear to sleep. However, after two months of using it, the fabric was stretched thin and began to come apart. I guess it would be okay for temporary use, but we don't want to have to keep ordering these straps every couple of months.

It's soft next your skinIt has very great sealYou have to really pull it apart or tug on strap because it's has very strong grip when trying to release strap but you can get used too the strap but I would buy again

I don't know if I just got lucky the last time I bought one of these or if maybe I got unlucky this time, but after a perfectly viable bout with one of these headgear sets, I recently had to buy another to replace one that broke before a replacement was available. Within just a few weeks now, the interior material of both of the upper straps has broken, leaving them held together only with the fabric that covers them. Just one accidental tug would probably break them at this point. Not to mention the velcro seems to be struggling tremendously to grip. It's still cheap enough to be a decent in-between item if your insurance only provides periodic headgear replacements, but only for the very short term. I'll be looking for other options.

I almost did not buy these because they are generic! I am glad I bought them. The price is very good but the reason I prefer these to the originals is that the velcro design is 1000 times better. My mask would slide off at night with the originals which did not stick very well. These actually stick and hold!! If you are thinking about whether or not to buy these, trust me you need to order some. I don't usually write reviews but was glad to do it and felt I needed to let other know how great these actually are. And no, I was not asked to review these. You have to try them out for yourself!!!

It didn't even last a month before the fabric started separating from its poor foam core. It's just junk!
