I chose this set of cymbals based on revues and recommendations from music stores. Turned out to be the right choice for me...I really like the tone of the ride and crash, and the hi-hats sound great. They are fairly bright, so if you're looking for a darker sound these probably aren't for you. For a reasonably priced cymbal set, however, I think these are really nice and serve my purposes very well.
