Worthwhile Read
I found this book super helpful. It taught me to focus on customer benefits over product features. It's an easy read, conversational with personality. It is true that he hawks his funnel software throughout the book, but don't let that stop you from reading the book. It's chock full of tips that can elevate your copywriting game.

A great book for those interested in learning copywriting and sales
The amount of information provided is vast and the way he explains it is really easy to understand. English not my native language so even I was able to fully understand what he was talking about. At certain points, he goes back to talk about the same thing and this affects the structural integrity of the content but it doesn't take too much space in the book. I can certainly say it was more than worth the money I paid. It opened my eyes to better understanding the importance of good copywriting!

Amazing book filled with useful & actionable information
For me, this took a lot of information that I already knew and expounded on the how and the why. Jim then provided at least two examples for every "secret" on how to employ what you've learned in a practical manner. The book is easy to read, easy to understand, easy to use and conveys his experience and knowledge in a clear manner. Get the book; Read the book; Understand the book; Use the book; Make your copy better with this book. Also, search out his channels as Jim shares his wisdom and thoughts on how to be a better copywriter.

Nice try, but...
I've read the russell brunson's trilogy box set, and was very happy with the content. The next logical step for me was to get this book by Jim Edwards. Honestly, I could not finish it. The book is basically a long sales letter for his FunnelScript software. Nice try, but NO.

Ein großartiges Werk für den Einstieg ins Copywriting
Copywriting Secrets ist ein genialer Einstieg ins Copywriting, aber keine Anleitung, um das Handwerk zu meistern. Im Titel ist das Wort Secret (= Geheimnis) vorhanden, was vermuten ließe, dass es ein Fortgeschrittenes Werk ist. Hier und da ist tatsächlich mal ein Geheimnis zu finden, aber das ist nicht die Regel. Das Buch ist in Wirklichkeit auf Anfänger ausgelegt. Nun etwas mehr zum Aufbau des Buches: Der Autor Jim Edwards gibt in jedem Kapitel eine Einleitung warum der Punkt so relevant ist, erklärt den Punkt und zeigt dir dann anhand von einleuchtenden Beispielen, wie genau du den Teil aufbauen kannst, sodass du sie sofort auf dein Beispiel anwenden kannst. Das heißt du kannst sofort loslegen. Die Beispiele sind praxiserprobt und daher validiert. In späteren Kapiteln bezieht der Autor sich immer wieder auf vorherige Kapitel und zeichnet den Lesern, damit ein abgerundetes Bild, wie die Kapitel miteinander verknüpft sind. Die Reihenfolge der Kapitel ergibt für mich persönlich eine Menge Sinn. Wenn du nach der Psychologie hinter den Texten suchst, bist du mit diesem Buch fehl am Platz. Die Verkaufspsychologie steckt zwar in den Texten drin, aber wird nicht direkt behandelt. Wenn du im Copywriting auf das nächste Level kommen möchtest, ist das Buch vermutlich ungeeignet. Alles in Allem ist das Buch sehr gelungen, wenn du gerade erst anfängst. Es gibt dir alle Tools an die Hand, die du brauchst, um verkaufsstarke Texte zu schreiben. Um aus deinen Texten dann Meisterwerke zu machen, dafür bedarf es weitere Bildung. Kurzum: Für Anfänger, Grundlagenwissen, Leicht in die Handlung zu kommen dank Beispiele

Want To Master Copywriting ? Just Get This Book
I do not write that many reviews but I found this book so helpful I want to give struggling copywriters a helping hand. I’ve probably got 30 or so books on the subject in my library as I’ve been studying the subject for a few years as it’s part of my job now as I need to promote my business. This book is the ONLY book you need to be able to master the subject. It covers everything and I use it every day while writing email copy and web pages. Do yourself a favour and just get this one and save £100’s. There is shameless promoting of Ray Edward’s other businesses but don’t let that put you off - just take it in your stride, it’s business and we’re all adults here ! Thank you Ray, excellent book !
