Powerful Performance & Excellent Customer Support
I purchased the Waykar 80-pint dehumidifier toward the end of last summer, and it made an immediate difference in my home. It removed moisture extremely well—collecting close to 160 pints per day under very humid conditions—and my home felt noticeably drier and much more comfortable. After several months, I noticed the unit became louder than when I first purchased it, and it was no longer removing as much moisture as it had originally. I contacted Waykar's customer service, and they have been responsive and helpful in working with me toward a warranty replacement. I also own one of their smaller Waykar dehumidifiers, which has been exceptionally quiet and has performed very well. Overall, I've been very impressed with the performance of Waykar dehumidifiers, and it's reassuring to know that the company stands behind its products with responsive customer support. I would definitely recommend Waykar to anyone looking for an effective home dehumidifier.

Excellent Customer Service
I've been very happy with the Waykar 80 Pints 5000 Sq. Ft. 2025 Energy Star Dehumidifier. It worked exceptionally well from day one, keeping my house dry and maintaining a comfortable humidity level. It's quiet, efficient, and made a noticeable difference in preventing that damp feeling. After about 10 months of use, the unit started having some issues. I reached out to Waykar's customer support, and I was impressed with how they handled the situation. They responded promptly and agreed to send me a replacement unit under warranty, making the process straightforward and hassle-free. While it's unfortunate that the original unit developed a problem, the excellent customer service and their willingness to stand behind their product gave me confidence in the brand. Overall, I highly recommend this dehumidifier for its performance and the outstanding support provided by Waykar.

Nice unit but humidity readout off
I’m dehumidifying my basement after water intrusion through my basement floor. Following a freak spring snow / rain storm northern Michigan style. Arrived quickly. It was a box inside a bigger box. The inside box said “this side up”. However hidden in a bigger box it arrived on its side. So I had to let it sit upright for a day to let the fluids settle. Glad I caught that need so as to not damage the unit. The price was good as an open package deal. Plugged it in fired it up seems to work well nice looking reasonably quiet unit. Not as big or heavy as my older unit. The drain hose for continuous operation is very chinsy but works. Seat it well and no leaks. A cheap short garden hose attachment would be a nice touch but I could do that cutting up an old hose. Only relative negative is the humidity readout. I’ve got a cheap hydrometer and my old dehumidifier both read low 50% range but this new unit is stuck about 65%. So don’t trust that reading until you pick up a cheap hydrometer ($10) to verify. Only fix for that is set your humidity target high to compensate. My actual target is 45% so I set the unit at 60% which should get me close. In my case if I didn’t do that and set the unit at a 45% target it would run a long time and be probably at 35% real humidity and that’s not what I want. So pay attention to your humidity setting and the readout versus what you really have. And have a box fan running to circulate your air. Good deal. UPDATE: unit seems to have fought hard to get down to 55% so I set the target to 50% see how it goes. My old 50 pint machine got down to 50% fairly easy. I have that and this new 120 pint machine running in opposing corners of my unfinished basement.

Unit works very well as intended, optimistic manufacturer customer service would work just as good
The product works as intended, is easy to operate, and is able to draw a lot of moisture out of the air very quickly. Shipping was fast and the product came well-wrapped and in brand new condition. Wish the water tank was larger but the smaller container size makes it less cumbersome to dump out the water after it is full, so it's not a deal-breaker. The price was good for the product that was received. The unit did fail after 10 months of use, but the manufacturer has been very responsive in taking care of me as a customer. Will update this review after I receive the replacement unit.

Great customer service and great dehumidifier!
Let me just say Waykars's customer service is some of the best service I've ever had to contact! Extremely fast response and action by them. My first unit didn't work properly and wasn't draining any water or removing humidity, upon contacting them and giving them the details and pictures, they sent a replacement unit right away and provided the return label to send the old one back in the new ones box. The new one worked like it should brining the humidity down in my utility room from 60% to 45% in just a few days and drains water like it should. By far worth it's cost. I've been using the cheaper $30 units for a few years and can already tell this one is far superior with how much water it is draining and removing from the air compared to the ones I've had in the past. If you're on the fence about whether to spend the extra money and get this, I can guarantee it's worth it.

Won't work outside of any states other than Nevada or Arizona. Useless cord length.
I'm actually surprised I'm giving this 2 stars. 1 is probably more appropriate.. I mean, it runs. It's measuring 63dB directly above it with the fan set to high. I clearly hear it from adjacent room (LR). But it's certainly not overwhelming. It becomes bg noise after a couple of days with the TV on. It's also like white noise for my pup lol. Now, I have been running this in my entry way for 2 full days non-stop now and emptied the tank 2x. It's simple to do, holds a reasonable amount. Ok, I live in ohio. It's summer. Alot of rain this year. But we are around #25 of the 50 states with the most Avg annual rain fall. Consequently, that would imply we are about there median with regards to humidity. I bought a hygrometer that should come tomorrow. Just want to confirm i don't have 2 broken units by some extremely rare chance. This is my second dehumidifier attempt. The first, 1000sqft, is absolutely and completely worthless for anyone in any environment. NEVER BY ONE OF THESE!!!!. I will review that next. I swear it will not remove moisture from a closet. I have no basement, so that's not the problem. It's actually useless. I have NEVER seen that one drop below 68%. Even if locked in a closet.. it was $60. But unless you live in Arizona, Nevada, or... that's it. Then you don't actually need one. The other 48 states, it will not do anything anywhere. It could possibly remove the moisture from an airtight bread box if i could get a cord inside. Anyway back to this model (JD025CE-80), which was on sale for 219. 5000sq/ft, 80pt tank. Not horrible... though effectively should be free. Again, this has been running continuously for over 2 days in an entry room. As far from the one door and one window as possible. Also, it's the only real place I could put it and frankly hate it there. Nobody should sell anything this size was less than a 10ft cord. This is maybe half that. I'm not running fing extension cords everywhere across floor. Seriously, have a reasonable cord length people!!!. This is actually more infuriating the more i try to manage it, so I'm going back to 1 star. So you know where i live, my ENTIRE house is 1900sq/ft. No basement, no 2nd floor and it's in a very average sized room. I have yet to see it drop below 60 but typically it's been hovering around 65. Remember, the small 60 dollar unit could hit 68 lol. I bought exclusively to place near an $8,500 used piano and $7,500 acoustic guitar (not the one in picture). I literally had to move that to a room far away from any windows and just place dehumidifier packs in the case. Anyway, I CANNOT maintain anything under 65 it seems in the summer. Both instruments should be in a place that will stay below 50%. Like say, Arizona, or Nevada. This dehumidifier can't reach this in ANY room of my house. And i actually personally never feel humid and dry quickly after shower with very soft water. So I'm pretty sure anyone living near where i live should expect to spend at least 1k for something to effectively get below 50%. I'm disgusted with the whole thing. Again people who give positive reviews live in the damn desert! Good luck, 48/50 state purchasers will be disappointed. And for the love of all that is holy in the world. 5FT IS NOWHERE NEAR SUFFICIENT FOR CORD LENGTH IN ANY WORLD OR ANY METAVERSE IN EXISTENCE!!!! Look at pics. It's actually infuriating the more i write...so peace out!

Solid product and great customer service!
I purchased the WayKar 80 Pints dehumidifier this spring and it has done a great job at maintaining the humidity in my basement! I was choosing between this dehumidifier and another brand and decided to go with the WayKar b/c it was quiet, was easy to set-up, had a sleek design and it covered 5000 Sq ft. which was perfect for my living space. I recently had an issue with the product and customer service has been very helpful and are standing by their 1 year warranty! I would definitely recommend WayKar products.

The Good and Bad. And the GOOD.
The GOOD and Bad We have been using this every day since we received it, which was probably within two weeks or so of purchase date in February 2025. For almost the entirety of having this unit we have had it placed in our 1/2 unfinished, daylight basement [lots of thermal mass which means moisture concern], with plenty of open vents to upstairs. The unit used to keep the lower level close to 30%, even registering 28% or so before shutting off briefly. The upstairs, which we keep an eye on with a couple different humidity readers, would be maybe mid 30's when the lower level would be at this point. High or low humidity levels outside never mattered—we have been quite comfortable, which is nice with humid spring and summer months. We have been quite happy with the unit until recently. More recently, perhaps the past few months, it only would register as low as high 30's downstairs, again, continuous running into a drain that is set for good gravity feed from the unit. It literally will now not shut off unless I do this—it used to automatically shut off on occasion for some time [27-28 relative humidity] until humidity rose. It would be close enough to ‘set it and forget it’ with only minimal observation for responsible ownership. A few weeks ago we would see largely low 40's downstairs. Then it went to 52%. Finally, it stopped collecting moisture at all. The gradual to sudden loss of moisture removal power spanned a short time with nothing I could figure as to external changes in its environment or care. The efficiency of this unit got to be quite bad. And the air filter has been kept clean continuously. We even have cleaned out the gunk from the outlet periodically with success. The latter is important, as we have found, for ANY dehumidifier in order to prevent leaks, which was never a problem, really, for this unit. The GOOD One of my excerpts from reaching out to Waykar: “We have not even had this unit for two years, and I do expect it to run optimally as it once did or at least close enough to it. The more recent declines are factoring in any sort of humidity externally. The unit has always kept our home much better than where we are now. Please help.” Waykar responded and some questions were asked, and information and pictures from yours truly provided. The questions asked made sense, and the information I provided resulted with the decision made to replace for free the unit we have heretofore been quite happy with overall. I am to send back, postage paid for by Waykar, the deemed defective product, which to me means quality control efforts are real, figuring out more certainly how an issue in production could have caused this. Regardless, standing by your product means a lot to me. Viability of the product is well near the only problem I have had with it, and this offer seals the deal to a good review. In short, we have used this dehumidifier to keep quite low humidity levels as a whole house solution, and it has worked very well. A daylight basement in periods of high humidity and heat requires something powerful. If you run into an issue outside of your control though, like me, you will likely have recourse. I am outside of the warranty period, yet the company and its representatives work hard to make sure I am pleased. I believe, though, if you register your product that it doubles or something, and so do what I did not: fill it out. No matter what you buy, things happen in manufacturing, shipping, etc., and so a manufacturer doing something like this means that they really wish to please. My one strong suggestion though is this: more companies should make easier access to some internals...on the last day of trying to make this right after reaching out to Waykar, I removed enough of the plastic molding to be able to vacuum out any dust and debris...and there was a good amount that got past the filter that we always kept cleaned. We are good with preventative maintenance on most things...those measures, though, do little to how some particles get into deep recesses of anything like this that moves air...I would suggest manufacturing easier removed molding pieces to conduct these deeper cleans. I don’t know that this has anything to do at all with the unit having failed, but it surely would not hurt. Also, placement of the unit and some other things DO AFFECT how well it works. For whatever it is worth, when opening windows and doors at night during certain seasons and conditions, one, from what I found in searching such matters, would be better off shutting of the dehumidifier due to allergens possibly being collected etc. These such things and more could be communicated by manufacturers as well as any retailers so that product could be better utilized. I always shut the unit off when filling our wood stove, for example. Learn to take care of what you own.

Segurança no Pós Venda.
O aparelho chegou com avaria, porém recebi o contato da empresa fabricante do aparelho, querendo saber a respeito. E resolveram a situação pra mim.
