To remove simply heat 3M foam tape with a hair dryer on low heat until loose then remove and/or slide a thin object such as a plastic ruler or a credit card starting from the edges of the adhesive tab, slowly continuing until you reach the opposite side of the adhesive tab. Gently pull off the adhesive tab. Repeat for the other tab. Clean adhesive residue on surface with soapy water and a soft sponge or dishcloth.
