Only a Novella after 2 years waiting for Justin's story? Co-authored? Really?
I haven't even started but I'm already kind of disappointed. Everyone was SO excited when ARE confirmed Justin was finally getting his own book. We've been waiting and waiting for 2 (?) years. And all we get is a Novella that's co-authored? I'm the type of person who doesn't lose patience waiting for a book. Authors have their own lives just like readers do. It's really crappy to a demand a release from an author. If rather wait 2-3 years for a fantastic story that came from inspiration instead of forced by a deadline. ARR's books used to really excited me. I have all of her books. I would one-click one of her releases without bothering to read the synopsis. I loved Until Ashlyn & Until Jax. Enjoyed Until July & Until Harmony. But I was super disappointed with Coby, June and December`s stories. Sage`s wasn't bad, but the ending was a letdown. Is it me? The past few Until books seemed to be written by someone else. ARR`s writing has always been thought provoking, well written and had genuinely interesting back stories. I know she has a precious son she worships. Family should always come first for authors. But her writing seems forced now. Like she needs to get the book submitted so she thinks up a plot. unnaturally. Forced. Like the effort she used to go hard at developing a character and their story isn't from inspiration. I still love her books. I'll still buy them. But let's just say I won't be one-click anytime soon. Especially after Until Coby. We hardly got to know Coby at all. I hope she goes back to taking the time to really think a story through before she writes.

It was just okay.
I don't feel that this book really ever started. I miss this author's usual roller coaster ride. It was just to easy, and after all this time I felt Justin deserved a bigger story. This in no way will deter me from buying Mrs Reynolds books, but this one was just ok for me.

Justin & Aubrey
This is the fourth contemporary romance book (its not a full length book but longer than a normal novella) in the Underground King series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. This series intertwines with the Until series and although it can be read as a stand alone story you will be missing out on a lot of information if you read out of series order. This book is adult themed with cussing, drama, and steamy scenes. There is no cliffhangers, no cheating, and always an HEA. There are very few small editing issues, its well written the storyline smooth, and you feel the couples connection. I was NOT paid for this honest review.*Warning* This book deals with sexual assault subject matter that may be a trigger for some please know that it is handled with the utmost consideration and care. You only get to hear the after effects you do NOT get detailed retelling/reliving of the assault. The victim is spared even remembering the event.Justin is a computer/tech genius working for a company that takes care of problems in the grey area of law/military enforcement. Basically they are untouchable. Justin is at home when his new neighbor walks in the building and its love at first sight. Aubrey is trying to survive her daily life sleeping at a friends apartment while hiding from her past. When a gorgeous neighbor comes to her rescue when her piece of junk car refuses to start she feels instantly drawn to him but must be careful of who she trusts. She has to keep her main priority in mind at all times, but when Justin proves to be the best man she has ever met she is glad she took the chance to place her trust in him.Justin is an awesome character you meet him for the first time in an earlier book when he is younger and he is really sweet, smart, and lovable. I was so excited he finally got his own book my only complaint....I wish it was longer i wanted even more. I will say that the author packed a lot of good storytelling in a shorter book. Aubrey is the perfect match for Justin and couldn’t have been written better. Great job Ms. Reynolds I really enjoyed this book. It was definitely worth the price and the read. Enjoy!

Justin
Justin was so worth the wait. If you have ever read an Aurora Rose Reynolds Until book then you will know that Justin is a side character that has wound his way around everyone's heart. He is a gamer who loves to rile up his boss Kenton and just an overall funny, chill dude. I think everyone has asked about Justin getting his book daily, but he was stubborn and refused to tell our Queen his story. Finally, Justin was worth the wait. He has matured into a perfect Alpha man who would sweep anyone off there feet, the lucky woman is Aubrey a pregnant single runaway. Justin taking care of his girls will melt your heart. Aubrey is a perfect match for Justin and who wouldn't trust and fall insta in love with Justin. I loved when the story came full circle as he already took care of her problem before he knew her. Aurora Rose Reynolds and Rochelle Paige killed it

It was just ok
I'm sad to say that there was nothing really special about this book. It's nothing like the "until" series, that made you fall in love with all the characters. I feel like I wasted my money buying this book. Shirley

Justin and Aubrey, the right end to a great series.
Most of this series happened before the Until series but I’m confused if this was before or after Autumn’s story. I’m thinking this is after.Doesn’t matter. Great book.Justin was always a bit of a wild card for me. I didn’t expect him to be all alpha male after meeting him in Autumns story because she described him as a nerd but I guess everyone’s ideas of a nerd would be case by case. 😃I’ve always respected Justin because he’s always protecting his friends with super valuable information they wouldn’t get any other way. He knows his place in the team and will do whatever needs to be done to protect his friends and family. This book is just another representation of that. I loved how possessive he was over Aubrey from the get go even though she was 9 months pregnant and ready to pop. That didn’t matter to him. He learned her story and fell in love with her anyway and started taking care of her immediately. He gave her a family that she didn’t have.Great story, great book. Highly recommend.

dissapointed
I have been waiting for this book forever! unfortunately it was the worst in this series. It was short thankfully because the story was absolutely boring. When we got a few glimpses in 'Distraction' of the story between Justin and Aubrey I was hooked with the promise of something intense and darker than the other books, with Justin the biker / soldier, this was not the case and Justin was way too sweet, the opposite of what was promised in 'Distraction'. I love Aurora Rose Reynolds as an author, but it was like someone else wrote this story. I am so disappointed with this book that the only good thing in the end was that it was short!!

It's absolutely crap
I've been wanting to read the last book in the underground kings series & I was so excited when Amazon brought it up in my book search form my favourite author Aurara Rose Reynolds. I'll be totally honest it's a load of crap £8 for 103 pages that took me less than a hour & half to read. Absolutely no story behind it Justin sees Aubrey she pops a kid out there !iving together they get married they kill the bad guys they live happily ever after the end. It reads like a book my 8 year old son brings home from school only difference is the school book has a better story behind it.

2 Impassive Stars
In this little novella we have insta-love at warp speed. The plot is a mix of insta-love, a innocent heroine who is in hiding, a protective hero and cuteness, and yet none of it did anything for me.One of the big things that let the novella down for me was the heroine’s reactions to what occurred to her, it felt wholly unrealistic – that was one strand of the story which for me was not well done.It feels like this was an intentional re-read, as so much felt familiar as I read, but I’m not 100% sure.Overall, this was a super quick read.

A great ending for Justin
Having been waiting on the lovable "brother" figure of Justin to get his own book from when we first met him in assumption I was not disappointed. Throughout the series he had evolved from fun, nerdy guy to join the ranks of the alphas. His relationship with Aubrey is sweet and totally fitting of his character. Another great ARR read.

Quick instalove novella
Was instalove so I couldn’t connect with it much. It was an okay read. It’s been a while since the last book in this series was out so I didn’t remember the other characters or their stories so this was a stand-alone in that sense for me anyways
