CapezioCanvas Dance Sneaker

I was originally concerned because they aren't leather soles but work fine for ballroom dancing.

So far, it's been really comfortable and I haven't had the need to break into them. But it's still early. I like the feel and fits well when moving around. They are a bit pricey, but so far you get what you pay for. I like them!

Rarely do I have to size up in any shoe but after reading many reviews, I decided to order a half size up. Thank goodness I did. I wear a regular sock with these. I can almost see ordering a whole size up except it’s not so much the length that’s the issue. It’s the tightness from the padding. The only reason I’m keeping the half size larger is because the laces are adjustable. Otherwise I’d return them for a whole size up. I’ve “tested” them out around the house but not danced a whole day/night in them yet. They seem to be good shoes otherwise. The whole point of this review is to advise buyers to order a half or whole size up and then adjust laces as necessary. I agree with the other reviewers who say the sizing is misleading. The shoe manufacturer recommends sizing up but it would be easier if they just made them actually be true to size.

I replaced my Bloch dance shoes when they became too worn out to continue to use. I decided to go with these shoes to try a different brand and color. The previous dance shoes were black. My new dance shoes are white and look more like a Keds tennis shoe. I've had the shoes less than a month and have worn them about four or five times. So far, I am happy with the way they work and feel. I can move well on wood floors, not too slippery with a sole that provides grip. The price was comparable to my previous brand.

I wear an *.5 and ordered accordingly. This shoe was about a 7 or 7.5.

I don't think most people know what a difference the right pair of shoes can make in an activity like Zumba. The ability to flex the feet provided by the split sole helps build foot muscles. The spin spot at the ball of the foot makes the swiveling and turning in the routines easy and painless. I'm in good shape, but I have fibromyalgia and am double jointed, so shoes with even a small amount of grip make my feet, knees and hips instantly painful. I exercise to help keep my joints in place and these shoes make that possible.Before these sneakers, I used Capezio jazz shoes, which have a much thinner sole and profile. They were far better than regular sneakers, but they had less cushioning in the sole and shoe overall. I think these sneakers are much better for Zumba overall.As for sizing, I was concerned because my street shoe is 5.5-6, and the Capezio jazz shoes I'd had were a 7, but still tight. I ordered 7 in these sneakers and prayed for the right fit - and they're great! I'm so, so happy with these.Also, I chose these because they're suede-free, which means they can be tossed in the wash. I did that every few weeks with my other Capezios and they held up beautifully, looking like new on top even after two years and having danced the sole away. I'm hoping these sneakers hold up the same way. I wash in cool and set out on the rack or outside in the shade to dry. No dryer.After seeing how much I love these, other ladies in the class have asked where I got them. I tried three sizes. The smallest, I couldn't even get on. The largest, I could, but they were long enough to be a tripping hazard while still squeezing the balls of my feet unbearably. Not all dancers have long, narrow feet!

Very good dance shoes, comfy and very flexible. They come in a lovely red box according to the quality of the product. You will get used to them quickly and feel the difference from the first day. The outsole is slippery enough to allow you to dance but not enough to lose the step or fall. Very recommendable. Ah!.. The only "issue" is size is off. I usually use 8.5-9, and order US 11.5 size fits me OK. Great product, though.

Bailo salsa y bachata y estos zapatos son excelentes para mis prácticas. Me encanta bailar con ellos, son muy cómodos y puedes girar muy bien. Estoy sumamente satisfecho con mi compra y los recomiendo ampliamente. Yo pedí un cm más y me quedaron perfecto.

Que más quedaría decir, pués no dudaría en volverlos a comprar!!! Superaron mis expectativas!!! Los recomiendo!!! Esó sí deben ser usados en superficies planas donde no halla piso resbaloso!!!
