Louise Upholstered Dining Side Chairs Black and Cream (Set of 2) 101562

I like the look of them in my kitchen. They really pop with the ivory seat cushions. Since my table was black I thought these would look great and boy was I right...they look like they were purchased all at once. I felt like the directions were tough to understand with no words any only pictures to guide the way. I think they are sturdy though it is tough to tell being they are so new. They definitely required chair pads on the bottom of each of the legs to keep them steady and not scratching my hardwood floors.

I thought Coaster Home Furniture was a low-end brand, but I was wrong. These chairs were very well built. They were twice as heavy as others we looked at in stores, so they aren't likely to tip over easily. They were easy to assemble and all of the holes and hardware lined up perfectly. I wouldn't call the wood "distressed," as was advertised. The grain was visible, and wood appeared to be the same tropical hardwood that our World Market chairs were made of. I especially liked the wood base under the cushion (no webbing) which ensured that the foam would retain its support even for our heaviest guests. The foam was very dense and supportive but comfortable. The seat back cushion was also comfortable, but it was less reclined than I was expecting from the photos. The width of the seat was very generous, but the seat back was narrower. My only complaint was the almost iridescent sheen to the fabric. I'm afraid they would be very difficult to clean and one of our chairs came with gray spots, although Coaster was very accommodating on replacing it. Coaster would have a home-run with these chairs if there were other fabric options! These chairs are a really good value!

The chairs seemed light and had parts which were easily damaged while shipping. So couldn't assemble it. So can't comment about how it hold up with use. But it didn't seem sturdy enough compared to the chairs I have or the ones I bought afterwards chairs which were way more sturdier.

Warning - these are yellow white in color. These are not white like the photo shows. The have a lemon yellow tint. They are not linen color. They do not have a nutural or beige look. They have a yellow hue and will contrast or be incompatible with grays, whites, neutral browns, ivory, etc....

I was nervous about buying chairs online, but these are great. Lightweight, comfortable, easy to assemble. My only suggestion would be if you plan to Scotchgard the fabric, do it before you put them together. This will save you the need to tape the legs to protect them from overspray, which other reviews say damages the finish.

Chair quality seems good but screws keeps loosening so chair is a little unstable.

These are gorgeous chairs. I had to return two of them for damages but the company was extremely quick to send replacements even before receiving the damage chairs back to their company. The chairs are generous in seating size and they're very comfortable!

Basically they are what I expected.I’m using them in the kitchen but I wouldn’t put them in the dining room.The workmanship could be better but I’m satisfied with them.
