My Gkids and I have played many a game. They are better than me, but it’s good for my brain, and sometimes I win!!

Simpler design affords more complex play
I like toys like this that can be adapted to played in different ways, spanning across a wide age range. A young child can learn color names or make matches (directed & supervised by a parent) or play against a parent, using fewer pegs and different pattern arrays. As they get a bit older, young kids can play against each other using age-appropriate numbers of pegs. I think it adapts a little better than image-based memory games with cards for older kids, sturdier and more challenging. You can change what counts as a match, like red+blue instead of red+red, or what counts as a win, like whoever makes the last match on the board wins. Like most games with many pieces, there is the drawback of losing pieces, so I’d recommend checking it over before putting back on the shelf.

Great game to play with little kids
I was looking for some activities for my 3 & 4 year olds to do over quarantine. Rather than place them in front of the TV (although they would prefer that) I was looking for something to help grow their mind. This was perfect because it is a game I can play with them and help teach them to pay attention to details and retain that information. It has been really fun to play with them and watch them learn and get better. And for the price, you cannot beat it.

Great matching game.
Got this for our 3 yo. She’s still learning how to play, but we like the concept of the game and it’s sturdiness. We recently lost the the dice, so currently play our own version.

Fun for kids over 3 to adult companions
Nice solid wood toy and a great distraction from electronics. Good for over 3-yr. olds learning colors and good for older kids as a memory game. Instructions for memory game not too clear but we were able to embellish and have fun.
