How well does the "RCA Composite AV to HDMI Converter" work when hooking up an NES, SNES, or N64 to a new tv's HDMI ports? Is the picture/sound nice?

NES would work, but when you have a SNES or N64, you would be better off with either a framemeister or use a SCART cable to hdmi converter. I use a SCART cable with the SNES and it looks awsome on my 50" because it's true RGB

Wait, does this convert Component TO HDMI, or the other way around?

It depends on which one you choose. They have one that converts HDMI to Composite, which is the one I bought, but they also have ones that convert Composite to HDMI and ones that do Component to HDMI.

Will this product work with PS4 ??? 
Where I stay I have very limited place and small LCD tv 3 RCA . I recently buy PS4 and want to connect to small LCD I have. What do you folks thing product? Will it support and work ?

Yes, it will work with the PS4 BUT there is a catch....I have a PS4 and to help answer your question I hooked it up through this device and I can confirm for myself that it did in fact work BUT, because this is converting to a composite / analog connection, the best quality you're going to get is 480. Being that you have a smaller LCD, it might not look all that bad. Also, I noticed there was a slight audible 'ticking' from the audio. With a PS4, HDMI is the way to go... Even if you had to get a newer LCD Monitor/TV. Nonetheless, for way less than a new screen, this will work. Unfortunately it comes with compromise. I hope this helps.

I have an old panasonic vcr and a Samsung smart TV.  Want to see some old VHS tapes on the HDMI TV.  WIll this work?

If your TV supports 720 and 1080, then i would say yes.  If it does not, your TV probably still supports analog (the old Channel 3).  I would try connecting the Coax from the VCR directly to the TV Coax input and try it.  Make sure you set the TV for the tuner.
