Good if your expectation is realistic
The powder color is consistent with some previous reviews, a yellowish green color. After I mixed it in water, it still foams, but the color is a little “muggy”. After I added vanilla and steamed milk, the matcha taste is very subtle compare to the ceremonial matcha I previously had. I think I’ll double the match tomorrow see how it turns out. Overall, for the price of around $3 an ounce, which is only the 1/3 or 1/5 price I paid for ceremonial grade, I have no complaint.Pro: it’s cheap for being healthyCon: light flavor

love it
Drink matcha every day. I have tried a bunch and this is the best value and pretty decent quality. This matcha is green, not brownish green like some similarly priced teas. Taste matches color.

A Great Matcha Powder from Kyoto, Japan!
I used to get Ito-En Matcha Powder from Costco in the 12 oz bags, until they stopped carrying it. When they did, I had to find a bulk replacement. I searched through several on Amazon before deciding to try the smallest bag of this Zen No Ocha. It checks all the right boxes for me: a delicious and fresh matcha powder from Kyoto, Japan. I made my first cup and soon realized this was the product for me, and am now on my third 8.8 oz bag. Highly recommended!

Very Japanese!
Great price and excellent flavor. I am very familiar with Japanese tea and Matcha. Talking about Japanese Tea, Made in KYOTO and SIZUOKA JAPAN are most famous and the taste of this matcha is very JAPANESE!

Great matcha
It blends so easily and tastes great. I think I’ve been drinking it for close to a year and bought a few bags. It’s always great quality.

Got this for my daughter, she says this is the best matcha she has ever had.

Poor Flavor
Maybe it's supposed to be more for culinary use, but it tasted sour and had a really unappealing pea-green color. I thought maybe I had burnt the tea, so I made another cup with even lower temperature and still came out with that splitpea soup color instead of the beautiful lush green I've had from higher quality teas.

Absolutely delicious
Was looking for a replacement for my usual matcha that's been unavailable for a while, and was disappointed after trying two other top rated brands. This one is absolutely perfect for hot lattes, rich, creamy, smooth as butter.

Best Matcha you can get
The quality of the matcha can’t be beat. The taste and flavour is very balanced. Very high quality product
