Worked for me, very easy ro install and bright
Rarely used light in a closet but still better on LED than fluorescent. It turns out working, easy to install. Plug and play! I hope it last long

Great... if you have the "right" light fixture
Anybody interested in getting this LED bulb replacement for a fluorescent ring tube, really needs to read the product description, especially the part on compatible ballasts. If you don't have one of the compatible ballasts, you might want to look for a different bulb. But let's say you do have a compatible ballast. It turns out you also need the "right kind" of fixture. Reading through many reviews, it seems many users have had problems installing this bulb in fixtures where the 4-pin plug is attached to the fixture. This is because the connector on the bulb does not swivel. You will only have a nice "plug and play" user experience if your fixture has a compatible ballast, and its 4-pin connector lines up perfectly with the connector on the bulb, or if the 4-pin connector is on a cable that you can move around inside the fixture. All that caveat emptor to say that I happen to have the "right kind" of fixture for this LED bulb, so I did get a plug and play experience. I've installed three of these bulbs. The bulb is brighter than the fluorescent bulb it replaced. However, maybe this extra brightness has made the tube more noticeable than the fluorescent tube that was previously there. You can see the ring shape even through the diffuser, as shown in my attached picture. This is not a big deal to me, but I know it may be a dealbreaker for people who use light more for decoration than illumination. Then again, those folks will probably not like the 4100K color temperature or the fact this bulb doesn't support dimmers. To conclude: Yes I recommend this light bulb, but only if you have the "right kind" of light fixture for it, and you happen to want illumination more than decorative lighting.

Resurrected A Vintage Workbench Magnifier Lamp
I had an old (65+ years?) magnifying extending-arm workbench light, with a real glass magnifier, that I wanted to install on my workbench. I bought this replacement bulb on impulse before reading the reviews. After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned that it would not work in my fixture. There was no reason to be concerned. It worked straight out of the box. The old lamp has a large laminated plate inductor on one side of the (non-polarized) AC input lines. (The inductor is not even encapsulated in potting compound or a metal can. It's just sitting there, bare, in the lamp's base.) Given the issues noted in the reviews associated with using old ballast types, I was not sure if this replacement bulb would work. Well, surprise! It took me less than two minutes to replace it and it worked immediately. It is nice and bright with no flicker. The light comes on immediately. (I still remember the old "hold the switch until the fluorescent bulb stops flickering and then release the switch to turn the light on" routine.) The ballast is in the base of the lamp. I ran the lamp for at least one hour and felt the base to see if it was getting hot. It was only slightly warm, perhaps no more than 40 C, and did not seem to be getting any hotter. So far, I am pleased with my purchase.

hella bright, really bright, bright bright, like seriously bright.
Oh, it's bright... did I mention that? So yeah, 1400 lemons is about right. It's almost *too* bright for a small room like a bathroom. I was using the light above the mirror, as the overhead light always had issues with the ballast, starter, both, who knows. So being that I'm a convert to LED replacements for tubelights, I'd see if one existed for ringlights, and right there, I saw this one.4100K is quite nice, as I hate cold-white with a passion. If it weren't high-noon sunlight bright, I'd love it even more, though. I wanted to go for a nice long soak in the tub (just got back from being a monkey) and had to turn off the lights completely and just use a warm-white portable light almost as "mood lighting" instead.Only downside is the flicker. Yeah, 120Hz flicker. It's not overly objectionable, but is noticeable if you look for it. That's the only thing that nicks the rating.Longevity? No idea, as I just got it. Hoping that it lasts like the bigger tubelights I got, one which sees nightly use about 10hrs/night, and one that's on 24/7 in the basement. Those are still going string, so I hope this one lasts at least as long. And yeah, it's *bright*.

Plug & Play replacement for circline fluorescent bulb
I have a 20+ year old circline fixture (purchased from Home Depot in 2002) in a closet in which the bulb has been replaced once or twice. When it died last month, I did not have a spare so I went looking. I was surprised to see an LED replacement that claimed to be plug & play with most ballasts. It cost about the same as fluorescent, had more than double the expected lifetime, was brighter (higher lumen rating), and offered free returns, so I didn't have to take a chance to see if it would work (I'd just have a dark closet for a week or so). When it arrived, my husband plugged it in just like any circline bulb and it worked. It's only 2 weeks old, so can't comment on longevity, but it's nice and bright and diffuses the light well.

Quit after 6 weeks.
Worked fine for 6 weeks and then, nothing. Just quit. The power supply always ran quite hot with this as well so can't recommend.

Works great but way too bright for small space
If you’re using this in a small space, you probably want something less intense, there’s a few rated at 900 lumens that might be a better fit. This one hurts my eyes and is too intense. On the “bright side”, it plugged right into the ballast, which previously had a fluorescent bulb.

Bright
I was skeptical about ordering this bulb actually fitting the medical magnifier I found in a dumpster, but it was an easy install. Plug and play.It works great, but it's so bright it could signal Uranus on a cloudy day. I actually like that, but should build some type of filter to save my eyesight. I mounted the fixture on the base of an office chair. Now I can roll it anywhere it's needed. It's stable and solid.

New life for my architect's lamp
Have a 20+ year old lamp with dual source (incandescent center, this on outside). The CFL died, wanted an LED and this was a direct fit. As we're WFH invaluable fix for those dark Canadian winter days. Would buy again, but, given quoted lifespan, will never need to.

Attention car le connecteur ne pivote pas
Attention car le connecteur du tube ne pivote pas contrairement aux tubes conventionnels. Eclaire autant que les tubes standard avec la même température de couleur
