Not recommended
The product is very week and does not strip like citrus orange does. Not a great value. Sorry!

This stuff is amazing!
We have been using this to strip the kitchen cabinets in our home (about 6 layers of paint from the previous owners) and this stuff is wonderful! I bought citristrip originally which did not work at all! I ended up finding this on sale at home depot and decided to give it a try! I will never use another product it pulled about 95% of the paint and varnish off in about 10 minutes! I used gloves but did get it on my arm and nothing but a little dryness. I bought every bottle available locally and was so happy to see amazon sold it! If you need to removed paint buy this!

The best non-lethal stripper I've tried
I used this for detail work (under baseboard heating) while refinishing floors. Took two passes, but it did an exellent job removing old varnish that oil- and citrus-based products ended up smearing around to the point where I could apply stain. The drawback: water-based cleanup is delightfully easy, but of course it raises the wood grain and can leave marks on the wood when using a oil-based stain, I just used a pre-conditioner with good results. Water-based stains were another matter. I tried water-based conditioner to no avail and ended up having to re-sand the washed area. The fumes were minimal, and the stripper did little or no damage to nitrile gives.

Not a good choice for removing older varnish
I bought this product to strip varnish off a 110-year old door. It removed a shade of the varnish but not by no means got the substance off. I ding this product one star for not having made clear that it will not work for older varnishes, such as the one I was trying to remove (which may not have been water-borne). I ding it another star for the odor, which was quite unpleasant (like a very strong nail polish remover), and not "low odor" by any means. I ended up buying and finishing the job with another "eco-stripper" that was better and cheaper, with much less odor, too. If you're stripping an old varnish, go for an eco stripper that uses dimethyl-adipate. It will work much better than this acetone-based one.

Works well for eco safe product
Works surprisingly well for an eco friendly product. Usually, they are not as good as the product they replace. Works just ad instructions say it does
