which is also a great idea when it is out of the Debin case
I thought at first that this wouldn't work because it was cavernous. My skinny little phone rolled around in it and seemed lost. So I tried a different case (Lensun--see separate review) but came back to it. The trick to make it fit was adding a protector on the phone, which is also a great idea when it is out of the Debin case. I got the Caseology Envoy (it's leather and the blue is beautiful), and that fattens up the phone just enough so this case fits perfectly. The other protects against drops, and this one does the rest. It is big enough, however, to make me question why I got the Note 5, which now seems HUGE. What can I say, I love it.

Nice case. Phone is bigger-case is bigger
I got this case because it says it can fit the Note 5 with a case on it. That is true. Fits the phone with my case comfortably. The case is well built. The only downside is that the case is bigger than my previous Note 2 case. It's not their fault. It's just due to the phone being bigger, but now it's pushing the limits of what I can carry on my belt without looking geeky.

Perfect
The case is over-sized for the Note 5, as other reviewers have noted, but that is exactly what I needed. I use the Note 5 with the external keyboard, which fits onto the Note 5, so I needed a case with extra room. The case fits my Note 5 with the keyboard attached, and with room to spare. The Note 5 is a bit loose inside the case, even with the external keyboard attached, but that makes it easy to get it in and out; I don't mind it being loose. The belt clamp on the case is a bit tight, making it hard to get on, but that also makes it hard to fall off, which is also what I want.Overall, this case is perfect for my intended use.

Not really for the NOTE 5, and what's with the rather tight clasp?
Bought a new phone, bought a new holster. The description said it would work for a Galaxy NOTE 5 smartphone even with a thin case. I have a clear, thin case on my [very expensive] phone in order to protect it. The case is just thick enough to protect the camera from touching the floor / ground, and so too the screen. While I can get my phone into and out of this holster WITH EFFORT, I would prefer if I could just slide my NOTE 5 into and out of it.I believe the listing also said '... for the NOTE IV and NOTE 5.' These two don't have quite the same dimensions, and I suspect this holster was designed for the NOTE IV, thus explaining the awkward fit for the NOTE 5. (Couldn't this manufacturer just make another holster, even if it meant raising the retail price 50 cents?)While the tight fit is tolerable, the clasp, which should offer some flexibility in order to slide it over a belt, has been more like an 'immovable object', making it difficult to put on, and worrisome that it might damage my nice leather belts (as happened with my last holster, but only after extensive use - see below). From what I saw when I went looking on Amazon, and with the two holsters I purchased (I promptly returned one to Amazon and wish I had done the same with this one) I got the impression that a goodly number of companies just thought they'd make a quick buck with an inexpensive product, perhaps even thinking that at such a minimal cost most disappointed customers wouldn't bother to return the item?P.S. A couple years ago or so, I purchased a similar style holster for my NOTE II. I used it for over 2 years with that phone (and have used it satisfactorily, if a little loosely, with my NOTE 5, as well. However . . . My NOTE II slid easily into and out of that holster, with the magnetic closure providing the protection it was designed for - even when I went jogging. In addition, the clasp provided a small amount of flexion, enough to make it relatively easy to slide the holster onto my belt. (Sadly, over the 2 years, with the rubbing of the leather covering of the clasp against my belt(s), it wore thin; and then the rough edges of the underlying metal began scratching my belts.)

Very nicely designed leather case
Very nice case. I have my Galaxy Note 5 in a slim case and it still fits perfectly. Nicely features belt loops and a belt clip. I can use both or one or the other. Has a spot to push phone out of case. And the leather looks good. Better than I expected.

GREAT LOOKING PHONE CASE
This I a well made phone pouch it was built to last. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with an Otero box case on it. I had no trouble putting the phone in or taking it out of the belt case. It was a great fit not to snug but snug enough. I did notice that if the flap was not in just the right spot that it would not say closed all of the time. Perhaps a stronger magnet would help. With that being said I did not fear that my phone would fall out because of the nice fit.

Does not fit Galaxy Note 10 Plus as stated in the description.
Ordered this pouch for my Note 10 Plus and it does not fit. Phone will slide in, but due to the position of the magnets, the flap will not close. Flap needs to be longer to fit the Note 10 Plus. Also, there is a lot of extra glue on the belt clip as well as the stitching. Would recommend searching elsewhere for another holster. Ended up throwing it in the trash.

Note5 Fits Perfectly
My Note5 fits perfectly with a little extra room so it is easy to get in and out. Would not want it even one mm wider or taller. Perfect and at a great price!
