The Boston Globe Sunday Crossword Omnibus, Volume 2

Careful here. If you've already bought Vol One of this Boston Globe Sunday Crossword Omnibus like I did, you'll find yourself doing some of the same crosswords you completed in Vol One. After the first five pages of Vol Two, there have been two repeats already. I hope that's not the case for the rest of the compilation. This calls for much better editing but since the edition came out in 2003, the editors probably don't much care about that anymore.Update: After doing 20 pages of the Volume, the only repeats apparently were in the first 5 pages as stated above, so upping my review from the original two stars to three stars now. Agree with other reviewers that due to print quality, some of the clues that have an i letter look like an l which can be confusing, especially if the clue word has an "il" combination.

My husband loves Boston Globe Crossword puzzle, so this was a great Christmas gift. We are no longer in the Boston area to be able to get in the paper. This is much better he can puzzles when ever he wants.

They are a little challenging, but not too tough and definitely not super easy. We have worked all of the L A Times Sunday Omnibus books, so we thought we’d try these. Very comparable.

I've been enjoying Omnibus #1, 2 and 3 for years. Over and over again, these people delight me. Esp. EC & HR.

Spouse uses this and likes the price.

Being a snowbird from the Boston area, I missed my crosswords. Not any more! Love this crossword book!

I've always enjoyed the Globe Sunday puzzles...this is a hefty collection but the binding is such that the book can't be laid flat and thus the only realistic way of doing puzzles on the left-hand pages is to tear them out of the book. The collections with spiral binding are way better.

A very good alternative to the New York Times Puzzle Books.

Excellent crossword puzzles with lots of puns, tricky clues, etc.
