You need to have used the first morning urine, and your test line needs to be the same colour or darker than the control line. Looking through the comments people, are thinking they have a positive test when the line is lighter than the control line. Please read the instructions.

Great item, easy to use, results finally made my gp take notice of me

Still getting my monthlies somewhat regular but have been getting hot flushes and anxiety, can feel my body changing. Been testing for a couple of months now and finally got my first strong positive. So they definitely work. Also I notices in the review people seem to be getting confused with their results, your hormones go up and down so test every 2 weeks and the second line has to be as strong or stronger than the control line otherwise its a negative.

A bit confusing, the second line appeared fairly prominent after peeing on the stick on the second and third days of my period (thanks to the advice of another reviewer) but the line isn’t as prominent as the first line. Does this mean it’s positive or negative, i’m guessing positive but not entirely clear.

Works how it’s says, what I will say is people on the reviews are reading the results incorrectly! It’s only a positive result if the test line is darker or the same darkness as the control line , so a faint line is a negative like my result ! Basically they work the same as ovulation tests strips do ! I will retest again in 2weeks but so far it’s a negative result !

Confirmed my suspicions of perimenopause possibly starting for me. Made me make a GP appointment for more advice and guidance. Took these with early morning urine on day 2 of period and then again 5 days and 7 days later to check levels which showed positive results. Easy to use tests.

Complete rubbish. I am almost 54, and my menstrual cycle has been becoming more erratic and shorter. This month, after 38 days since my last one, my period has not arrived, so I bought these tests to check if I was in menopause, which I highly suspect. I used one test, and I have got no result at all, despite following the instructions. Just a half-pink result window devoid of lines. I will try the second test using the urine in a cup dip method, but I have no confidence at all that one will work now. What a waste of my money and time.
