Hausse Cargo Blocks Trunk Organizer, Multipurpose Cargo Holder for Trunk Car SUV Van, Set of 4

Bought for the cargo area of a new Chevrolet Equinox. Wanted to try a different base as the other set of these I have from a different vendor had velcro, which was almost too strong a base to pull from the carpet of the cargo mat. These said good for a variety of surfaces, so gave them a try. While they work for holding in very light loads, when I tried putt in a box that was about 10x12 base and 10 pounds, it has slide across the cargo area after a 5 minute drive, so didn't really serve a purpose. They seem to work OK on a WeatherTech mat, but not the factory carpet.

So, they have a silicone/rubber bottom to keep it from sliding on carpeted trunks. I have a standard SUV trunk and they shift around unexpectedly.

I used these for the first time yesterday. I bought this so my sister's oxygen tanks wouldn't roll around in the cargo area of my car. I have rubber mats in the cargo area and thought these might keep the tanks from rolling around. They worked somewhat, but the tanks still moved enough to knock the corners outward so they were clanking. Maybe they work better for groceries or something lighter than small oxygen tanks. I haven't tried that yet.

These cargo blocks work just as well as those costing over twice as much! I use 2 on corners and push the other side against the inside of the cargo bay. To hold odd shaped items or bags, I keep a shallow cardboard box; the holders keep the box in place. I have a rubber cargo liner, not carpet, so I don’t know how well it works on carpet.

sadly it slides round in trunk carpet (I have a Chevy Cruze). The base of te block doesn't have velcro or anything 'good' to cling to the trunk floor

They work pretty well on a rubber mat. Wouldn’t work well on carpet though. I had to buy a rubber mat for them to work.

Works good holds on even ribbed mat though light and easy to use

These work great and are cheaper than the Weather Tech version. So happy with my purchase!
