Works well, but be sure to plug your internet modem into the non-amplified "VoIP" port, labeled with a telephone symbol. I didn't see any instructions that stated this, but maybe I missed it. Otherwise, you may experience instability.

Works well for getting a signal to other locations in the house. Why the cable companies always want to install the demark in the most distant corner of the home boggles my mind. This boosted the signal db enough to give me signal strength to get to a cable box at the other end of the home and on another level. Does the job and my signal is now reliable across the home.

This was exactly what I needed to link my Tivo set top boxes together. They use MOCA (Multimedia over COax) to network the devices together. I understand that this might also be useful with cable systems with telephone service that need bi-directional capabilities.

My gripe first which is the only reason for knocking a star off - the unit is unusable as packaged because you need a coax to connect the power adapter to the unit. I take it the rational for this is you could install the booster as far as 100' from the power source based on whatever coax you supply - ok, great, but if you don't have a spare coax cable lying around (I did) then you can't install the unit. If nothing else, this should be made totally clear at the time of purchase or in the product description. Yes, technically it says "coax cables not included" but no one would assume this includes the cable needed to power it. K, that out of the way, the unit works *great*. We had a problem with the signal in our house causing some stations to break up constantly. The Tivo reported a signal of 24-27% strength. Removing the existing splitter and going direct got the strength up to a usable 35% but I had to remove my cable modem in the process - obviously not an acceptable solution. So I bought this with low expectations and the knowledge that Amazon would take it back if it didn't work. Well, it does. Signal strength, *with* the modem reconnected more than doubled to 55-57% and all picture issues disappeared. I couldn't be happier.

My internet went down & I traced it to a malfunctioning cable signal amplifier in my attic. I replaced it with the Reliable Cable Products 9 Port Bi-Directional Cable TV Splitter Signal Booster/Amplifier. The install was easy only taking 10 minutes. Plugged my gateway back in & my internet immediately came back up. The hardest part was climbing up into my attic.

I purchased this product back in 2021 and it's been working in my freezing and 130ºF attic for 3+ years without any issues. I like that I can connect a single antenna to it and use existing coax lines to 4 bedrooms, a game room, a living room, and a patio. Good product and I recommend it. UPDATE 11/21/2024: I just noticed that, although this is a zero-loss device, it doesn't provide any signal boost. I've ordered another 8-port device that offers a 4db boost to see if it'll improve my reception.

I purchased this product on July 22, 2022, for $64.87 along with Asurion Insurance for $8.65..... this product stopped working aroud March 1, 2023..... I filed a claim they sent a return slip and once I dropped the defective product off at a UPS center they refunded my money (without tax) I repurchased this same product thinking that this same product is still covered under the 3 year Asurion insurance plan....... The same 9 port bi-directional cable splitter signal booster was purchased on March 25, 2023, this lasted 40 days and crashed just like the first oneI Today I attempted to file a claim thinking I was still covered through the orignal purchase.... I WAS WRONG.... ALL ASURION INSURANCE ARE A ONE TIME USE WITHIN THAT 3 YEAR PERIOD..... MY ADVICE IS DO NOT BUY ANY AMAZON OFFERED PRODUCTS THAT OFFER ASURION INSURANCE THAT MEANS THIS COMPANY PRODUCTS ARE MORE THAN LIKEY TO FAIL.....THATS HOW THEY MAKE THERE MONEY..... I CAN NOT GET BACK MY TIME AND EFFORT AND TRAVEL GAS RETURNING PRODUCTS THAT DO NOT LAST OR WORK!

Took a chance and ordered this as a replacenent for an existing more expensive unit that blew. Work like a charm with cogeco cable. Hopefully it will last.

This unit is capable of splitting a good signal to many other units. It is easy to install and works like a dream. The only downside was that they didn’t supply an Australian converter plug.

held enough cable outlets and has a phone outlet. I had some channels which didn't come in when I hooked it up the came in instantly
