Noting the life time guarantee, I purchased the Alpha Grillers Garlic Press and Peeler Set about a year and a half ago and have been using it just about daily ever since for both garlic and ginger. It is fantastic! WHAT IS IN THE BOX: Beautifully presented in a lovely gift box, I received both the stainless steel garlic press plus a silicone tube garlic peeler. WHAT I LIKE: I have been using this garlic press for a year and a half and it looks as nice today as it did when I bought it. It shows absolutely no signs of wear. This press feels solid and durable in my hand. Use has proven it so. The stainless steel construction allows me to wash this in the dishwasher and I do. Every time I use it. I cook all the time. Not only do I prepare all of our meals from scratch due to family diet issues, but I have a large, organic garden and I preserve food from it all the time. I love food with flavor so I use lots of peppers, onions, ginger and garlic! I have worn out several garlic presses in my lifetime. The last one literally broke when I tried to press ginger into some water kefir. Tired of cheap crap, I got decided to find a quality garlic press. Noting the life time guarantee, I purchased the Alpha Grillers Garlic Press and Peeler Set about a year and a half ago and have been using it just about daily ever since for both garlic and ginger. It is fantastic! WHAT IS IN THE BOX: Beautifully presented in a lovely gift box, I received both the stainless steel garlic press plus a silicone tube garlic peeler. WHAT I LIKE: I have been using this garlic press for a year and a half and it looks as nice today as it did when I bought it. It shows absolutely no signs of wear. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's pretty nice - Not a MUST, but a nice thing to have.

I used to chop garlic with knife on the board. I'm a heavy garlic eater- and I finally decided that I am tired of chopping garlic one clove by one. Instead I decided to give it a shot to crush garlic. Well- it does what it is saying that it would do. It crushes garlic. I don't have much power in my hands but if I try hard enough I can manage it. It definitely serves you when you need 2 or 3 cloves of garlic freshly minced in your cooking pan immediately. It's a plus when you feel yourself as a fresh ingredient using chef. But if you need some heavy amount of garlic -for instance making Aglio Olio and you literally need TABLE SPOONS of garlic- better use a food processor. But who would eat that much of garlic except me? Ha. Cleaning wasn't that hard as it looks like a piece of complicated machine. I just rinse it off with water and scrape out some unfortunate flesh of garlic that wouldn't go thorugh the tiny hole. Sometimes flesh would stuck between the pieces of metal, but i just carefully scrape it off with my pairing knife. I rinse it off with water, no soap necessarily, and shake it and let it dry. I'm satisfied with my purchase. I still might go for chopping garlic w/ my knife when I don't feel like going through washing the garlic press, but yeah, like I said, I like it when I have no time, the pan is hot, immediately need some garlic minced in, this press is to-go equipment now. And I like this rubber garlic peeler that came with the press. It smelled like rubber at first time but washing it before use got rid of the smell. It's pretty helpful little kitchen gadget. It came in a nice, hard box. This company takes pride with their product.
