Product worked great. Unfortunately, my KVM switch had a bad HDMI port so I have to return that one and get a new one. This product has been great so far.

Worked great connecting an ancient 23" Sceptre Komodo TV/monitor to a modern Geekom A5 mini-PC. While the Sceptre has HDMI, its native resolution is 1366 X 768 @ 60 Hz, and I couldn't get it to work via HDMI with the mini-PC. So, I decided to go HDMI -->Adapter--->SVGA instead. Works flawlessly and saved me the cost of buying a more modern monitor. No flashes or problems, mine runs barely above room temperature.

You wouldn't think that you would need to adapt VGA to HDMI anymore, but sure enough, my work has a bunch of large displays in conference rooms that the company refuses to update. I am giving presentations several times a week and for me, it makes a lot of sense to have my Thunderbolt dock output video to the displays, however, the dock only has HDMI. I picked these up to make that happen.I have no issues with video quality but most of what I do is Power Points. On occasion I will do videos and everything looks as good as if it were a native connection. The company is happy that their old tech still gets use, too. These adapters work well and are portable. They take up barely any room in my laptop bag.The only thing is that they get hot. I don't think it is bad enough to worry about them catching fire or anything, but after a long presentation, I notice that they are hot to the touch when I am packing up my gear. Easily as hot as a the outside of a mug with fresh coffee in it, but not hot enough to emit a burning plastic smell or anything. It's probably fine. I have been using them for over a year and the adapters are keeping up.

I got this for VGA to HDMI, and it wasn't working, but it works for HDMI to VGA, so make sure you are getting the correct one.But it worked great for its purpose, connecting to an HDMI port and a VGA input.

Needed this to connect mini pc to my old monitor. Easy to use.Money save since it allowed me o continue to use my old monitor.

I finally replaced my old PC but didn't want to have to buy a new monitor too. (My monitor is so old, it doesn't have a USB plug.) This little adapter has worked great!
