Q: Is this a realistic chair for 8 hours a day?

I don't think you could sit on this chair for 8 hrs. I'm a physically small person, with no knee problems... I can only tolerate about 2-3 hours of sitting (even with breaks) before my legs and knees begin to ache from the pressure.

Q: Is this comfortable for people with bad knees?

Yes, you can adjust to balance your weight !

Q: Does it come already assembled?

No, but it is very easy assembly.

Q: I lost some of the screws, does anyone know what size they are so I can get replacements?

I would contact the seller/manufacturer and ask them. Chances are they will be happy to send you replacement screws!
