The spike pattern and the design where the spikes go outside the sole is breakthrough. Very stable, you will notice this in your swing. The tongue design is poor. The fold over the top of the tongue material and it rubs on the top of your foot. This is annoying if you walk a lot like I do.Update Jan 9th.I just returned my second pair as the water from the wet grass leaches in and you end up with wet socks. I really wanted to like these but as you know if you golf, you can't play with wet feet. I

Bought these to replace a prior pair of Footjoy DNAs that I had for ~3 years and loved. These are not nearly as good of quality. As somebody who takes exceptional care of their golf equipment I was disappointed to see a scuff with the top coating pealing after the first round. At first I thought it was something I had done, but after playing 5-6 rounds in the shoes a number of other peeling scuffs. These seem to be significantly less durable than I generally expect from footjoy and would suggest skipping this generation of shoe from FootJoy.After 3-4 pairs of FootJoys over the last decade, all of the previous ones I have really enjoyed, I will likely be moving to a different brand in the spring after this disappointment.If you do choose to purchase you should also be aware that the other reviewers are correct that they tend to run a touch narrow particularly in the pinky toe area. I held them next to the same size and width Footjoy DNAs that I have and its fairly pronounced, although it seems to have packed out nicely after the first few rounds so now fits my foot well.

I have always been the #1 fan of footjoy golf shoes over the years. They usually make great products. These shoes however are ankle killers. The elevated ankle support on the left shoe is covered with dried blood as it has rubbed the skin off in that area. As I have worn them a few times I doubt a return is possible. Looks like they are going on the shelf or in the trash. Real bummer!!

I am a 9 handicap and an I walk a lot. These shoes ROCK. I actually ordered a second pair yesterday. They have a nice heal system (leather) and I walked 18 on first wear and didn't have any issues. Can't go wrong unless you have a wierd foot configuration...

I am an avid golfer (play between 4 and 7 rounds a week). These shoes are awesome and worth the investment. From my first round (new out of the box with no break in period) you can feel the difference. Very comfortable and I love the wider cleat base as it helps stabilize your feet during drives. My only wish is that they came in more colors as I would buy another pair

Received these shoes June 11th 2020, shoes are very sharp and feel very comfortable on the course. Noticed the last time I played the sole was starting to separate from threat of the shoe. Not only on the inside but outside is well. Hoping there is not an issue with returning the defective pair I got.

Purchased for my husband, who wears a 10 1/2 Extra Wide. They were too narrow... fit like a Medium Width. Had to return them. Footjoy Dry Joys fit perfectly!

Took about 50 miles to break in, they are comfortable and fit true to size. Good support and stability.
