I brought this case to Death Valley, California for a month straight in August 2023. For you Army guys I'm talking about NTC rotation. My phone did not overheat once. I also took measures such as keeping it off at peak hot hours, putting it in airplane mode, keeping the case in the shade, and not repeatedly putting it in/taking it out during the day (as much as possible). Last time, I was here for a month May/June and my phone would show overheat warnings or tell me it couldn't turn on because it was too hot. That is why I bought this case and it worked great. The velcro becomes degraded after repeated use but it doesn't appear to affect heat protection because the phone never over-heated. I got complete service/signal with the phone in the pouch as well. My phone is a V50thinQ android OS. Lastly, it's a nice way to keep your phone safe from bumps/drops, and it makes it easier to find because of the silver color. I was jostling around all month in and out of big vehicles and running around with my phone in my hip pocket (inside this case) and had no new screen damage. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this case and I will buy a new one when I have to visit extreme temperature regions again. If it did the job here it will do it anywhere.

This works great when I’m in the sauna and trying to relax to music while people are talking. I haven’t had any issue with it not keep my phone the right temperature to prevent it shutting down. Love it !

This is a good product. It keeps sand and heat out on the beach. Hoping it does as well in bitter winter cold

So far it seems to work well in a hot car. There was one moment that my phone still seemed to overheat when I took it out.

Mine might be defective, however, the Pingketor phone case does not prevent my iPhone from overheating. I had my iPhone in the case in my back pocket while hiking and the iPhone said it must cool down before use even though the end was fastened closed. Another time I was lounging by the pool and had the iPhone in the phone case beneath the pool chair which was covered with a towel and it also overheated that time as well. The only thing I could do was place the iPhone in a plastic bag and dunk it into the pool to regain access. I’m dissatisfied.

Due to my work, I’m often outdoors, and in summer, it's especially frustrating because my phone battery drains so quickly. A friend recommended this phone insulation bag, and it’s been a great help! My phone didn’t overheat at all，and the battery also lasted longer than usual.

Okay, I know most people love this thing, but I have a few issues with it. One is ...no over the shoulder strap. My coat pockets aren't deep enough to hold this and that's an issue. I have to use my own over the shoulder phone holder (with strap) to carry it along and today in -8 degrees, for an hours long walk the phone didn't shut off on me, but upon arriving home, taking it out of the pouch it was very very cold and wouldn't charge because it was too cold to charge. That doesn't seem to be what was promised. Also, it's very very hard to open / the velcro is SO strong. I'm no weakling, but gosh...in an emergency situation when I need to open it NOW / it's going to take a minute. It floats...okay I don't need that, but what good is that feature if you don't have a strap connected to it to reach for (in the water)? If this drops in a river you don't even have a chance if the current just up and takes it downstream, like there is no long strap connected for you to grab for it you know? ------- Over all, I expected more / especially in the cold weather. ----------------I'll try it in the heat at the pool and if the phone doesn't overheat in the sun (all afternoon) I'll be happy enough - but I'm not thrilled with it so far.----------------------- What I know does work better than this is just dropping my phone into my electrically heated mitten during a walk. I may go back to that. At least then, when I want my phone I can just slip my hand out of the glove and bam - there is my phone already in my hand and warm. Well, I gave this a try. If you are skiing and have your phone on an inside pocket of your coat / don't see why you would need this anyway.

I wanted to love this item, but sadly I can’t. It’s an amazing idea, especially in the area I live; our summers stagger to about 120 degrees outside. I can’t imagine the temperature in the vehicle. Please don’t buy this item if you own an IPhone 14 Pro Max and have a case on your phone, this will not fit it. The otter box defense case I have on my phone isn’t too bulky, like others. The phone will not fit into this thermal protective carrier. You will waste your money, for a product that would be an amazing assistance in the heat. To the inventor; Keep on with the amazing ideas. Please 🙏🏼 just maybe make the thermal carriers in different widths and lengths. I can’t even give an amazing rating, I’m bummed about it. You’ll have more buyers in areas such as Southern California, Nevada or Arizona. My desert area could use it.
