Works well for the undercoat of my Lab. It does cut the top fur, if the comb is held more upright.

Our German Shepherd loves to be brushed and she definitely gives this 5 stars. It really does a great job getting the loose fur from her undercoat

I have long been a fan of the Furminator product line. I have had several and have purchased them for family and friends. They work well. There are other de-shedding tools that are much simpler in design and work far better and are easier on your pet in my opinion. I think that it is much a personal choice decision and would depend on your specific needs and the pet you with which you would be using Furminator Undercoat deShedding Tool on. The Furminator is well made and is sturdy. When the comb is full of hair, the simple push of the button on top allows one to easily removal the hair from the tool. The same mechanism that releases the hair also acts as a shield to protect the comb when it is not in use. Note that the Furminator Undercoat deShedding Tool DOES NOT cut any hair. It simply removes loose hair and helps to untangle matting. I gave it 4 stars because it is a good product. I just think that there are better choices.

I've owned these over the years for my long-haired Chow Chows and for a Shiba Inu -- both breeds shed like crazy! The FURminator is necessary to keep your dog's coat not only looking good, but FEELING good to your precious babies! It's recommended to be used weekly, along with regular brushings, which is the best way that has worked for me. With the push of the top piece, the comb releases the pet hair for easy grooming!

Works very well on my kitties. Even after brushing, it’s amazing how much shedded hair this extracts.

Meh is the best to be said. Does it pull up hair with every pass? Sure does. Does it clear itself by retracting the bristles. Yep. Problem is the max power brush I have does those things too for half the price and it does it better. The brushing surface on this brush feels thin and razor like instead of being a large surface area, Meaning that however well it pulls up hair it takes a lot more passes to get the job done. The button to clear the hair feels clunky and stiff, it’s not anywhere near as quick and effortless as other options out there. Just not impressed with furminator, paying for the name.

Cette brosse est géniale. Nous avons 4 chiens dont 2 avec un sous-poils important. En ce moment, ils muent et aucune brosse ni gant de toilettage n'arrivaient à enlever celui-ci. C'est incroyable ce que je peux enlever avec cette brosse et quasiment plus de poils dans la maison ! Elle n'agresse pas la peau, démêle doucement et ne génère aucun agacement sur mes chiens. Je recommande fortement ce produit. J'ai pris une taille M, mes chiens pèsent environ 22 kilos et j'ai vais reprendre une taille L pour les flans. Ils n'ont pas le poil long mais très touffu. C'est vraiment un super produit

La herramienta es funcional totalmente y no requiere mantenimiento diferente a retirar el pelo que se queda entre los dientes. Es un poco pesada, pero te acostumbras. Además no lastima a las mascotas

Her ne kadar köpekler için olduğu yazsa da, uzun tüylü kedim için tereddüt ederek almıştım. Ancak ilk kullanımdan itibaren kedimin favorisi oldu diyebilirim. Daha önce birçok farklı tarak kullanmıştım ancak ya taraklar çok etkisizdi ya da kedim pek hoşlanmıyordu. Bu ürün ise hem gerçekten çok iyi tüy topluyor (gerçekten çıkan tüy miktarını görünce aşırı derecede şaşırdım, 1 kedi daha yapılır o tüylerden) hem de kedim mırıl mırıl mırlıyor. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim!
