I've been using this for over a year to brush my Yorkie, who has long, smooth and fine hair, as you'd expect a Yorkie to have. At 18 months, she's not quite floor length yet, but she's getting there!It's very good at catching the little knots that Yorkie hair is prone to, the ones that seem to have collected fluff from somewhere and tangled into a long, thin tube of mess midway down the length. It's also very good for getting into the armpits and heels that are prone to severe matting if not given special attention, as well as under the tail. I still go through with a fine toothed comb afterwards as it doesn't always catch everything, especially if the knots are much smaller than the gaps between the teeth, but often just brushing in another direction is enough to remedy this.My dog is only around 3kg so quite small, but this brush is the perfect size for her. It's comfortable to hold, easy to clean, and has held up despite daily use. It's a nice colour too, not that it really matters.I could probably just use the human version, they're effectively the same thing, and you may pay a premium for the pet branding, but it's a good tool to have in the box!

Great little brush perfect for my daughter to brush her toy poodle. But its can be a bit harder to use if you have large hands. So please take note of small brush. But its perfect for small dogs and owners

This is a fantastic Brush. I have a mixed cross Bichon / Shizu which is very curly and was finding it very hard to find the right Brush. I highly recommend this Brush it is fantastic and my we Dog loves it.

This works well on my Bichon Frise, good for detangling gently. She has been unwell and not been able to brushed or groom her for a few weeks. More gentle than the metal brushes. Easy to clean after use. Would be ideal for puppies too.

This brush was okay but didn't do a fabulous job dealing with my long haired sight hound. I think more suited to a short haired dog or cat. Smoothed the top coat but didn't really get to the tangles underneath. Was fine for quick tidy but not a proper groom

Brilliant for daily brushing my rag doll cat, the best brush I’ve used. Gets out all of the loose coat without pilling on her coat.

I have a Springer Spaniel. Didn't like being brushed. In fact the only point he could see to a brush was that the handle was good for the odd chew if he could just get it out of my hand. I don't blame him - the brushes I previously used wouldn't deal with tangles and matting. So I bought this one.I'm not going to say he loves it - that wouldn't be true but he is a lot more tolerant about being brushed than he used to be.The brush, having the handle at the top, is much easier to use and control. It deals with tangles and small matted bits gently yet effectively and it's a doddle to clean. There has still been the odd bit of matted fur that has had to be cut out - the trick is to catch the tangle before it becomes matted and standing still isn't in a Springer's nature. But, it has made grooming him much easier.A really good buy.

I got this for my yorkie and i couldn’t use it because it doesn’t open any tangles or doesn’t collect hair since my dog’s hair is so thin. So i still use a classical dog brush for her.I would say it is useless for small dogs which has straight fur. Might be good for the big or curly fur dogs.

Brosse en surface donc bien pour les poils ras mais pour la masse de bouclettes des cockapoo oublier cette brosse. Sert juste à la mettre en confiance avant de passer au peigne diabolique.
