The chuck is fixed to the shaft and not as advertised where it can be removed ... I AM DISSAPOINTED,... I WANT exactly the same product advertised,' pus it does not appear to be double bearing type on both ends of the motor

Garbage. Wrong Chuck sent. Won't fit at all.
The Chuck has a thread on it. The adapter come with the kit is tapered amber. Won't fit. Garbage. Don't buy.

Great for DIY chipboard 'shop' tools.
Cons: These are brushed motors.Pros: I use these little motors for a tiny indoor DIY workspace. We work with MDF (chipboard) and layered cardboard with very thin wood. This particular motor used as a small drillpress motor. We also use similar for a table saw and table router. These are not side loaded bearings so I expect the router to wear more quickly.I have found replacement brushes on both Amazon and ali.
