RENPHO Smart Scale for Body Weight, TFT Handle Display, Rechargeable

We really like this scale because it gives you so much more information than just your weight. The handle and display are easy to use, and I love being able to track body composition, muscle mass, and other measurements over time. It feels well made, looks modern, and has become a useful part of my whole family routine.

We got this scale 2 weeks ago and have been using it daily to capture trends and help us stick to our goals. It looks clean, sleek, and it’s lightweight. I do think it’s quite accurate and consistent as long as you are being consistent with the timing/state you weigh yourself. For example I do it daily after using the bathroom and before drinking water and don’t see massive spikes. Make sure the scale is on a flat surface, this was where we were seeing discrepancies. Because we have a smaller home, we have to put it away each time after using, which makes it hard to keep calibrated. The app is very easy to use, we have 2 separate accounts but it’s probably easy if you create one account and then profiles under the 1. This will allow you to not have to use the mobile app to store the reading as you can select the profile from the scale. Otherwise I just open the app, click on “go to measure” and it helps connect to the scale. I also make sure to grab the bar first, then I step on the scale. Overall I highly recommend this scale! It’s very easy to read and understand the data. Most data points are definitely accurate and helpful. Some like the waist to hip ratio are off, but you can gather your own by using measuring tape (mine said I was at .91 when I’m really at .7) if you like data this is definitely for you!

This scale was super easy to set up, with the connected app on my phone. It came with enough charge to immediately put into use. It looks cool, too! The amount of detail I was able to obtain is amazing. The printout gives me the ability to see my initial baselines as I begin my workout programs. In addition to printing out my results and metrics, I exported the PDF into an AI program (I use all three - Gemini, Chat and Claude) and I'm able to create an excel workbook and a body comprehensive reference guide covering all 17 metrics, each one explaining my values and it's importance. If you are serious about tracking your body metrics, I can't think of a better scale at home to do it with.

Love this scale! It’s been with me throughout a 130 lb weight loss since I started keto in 2018. I had an older version that took batteries when I started (now have this rechargeable version) and I’ve been happy/surprised at how accurate it is compared to the scale at my dr’s office. I love seeing my progress and it helps keep me motivated and holds me accountable. I intend to keep my keto lifestyle for the rest of my life and I hope I always have this scale and app with me. The app is easy to use and I have no problems syncing it and it’s certainly been dropped and fumbled by my clumsiness several times over the years with no damage or issues in functionality.

Ok I Revised this review. I found the trick to making this scale scan your entire body every time. You need to wet your hands. They should put that in bold letters at the beginning of the instructions. I nearly threw this away until I happened to try it with wet hands. I’m still unsure of how accurate the numbers for fat mass and muscle mass, etc. are. I think it might be using ratios not actual scans. But I need more data to be sure. I’ve lost 130 lbs and my weight is pretty stable now, only fluctuating a couple pounds high or low. But I have been working out heavily and I know I’m building muscle, I can see it. But if I gain a pound or two on the scale it shows up as increased fat. So all I’ll say for now is this is a great scale that measures a lot of different variables. Just be sure to have damp hands when you do the scans. This scale is worthless. It rarely scans you body. I didn’t pay this much for a scale that just gives me my weight. Do not waste your money on this.

I purchased this scale to replace a $500 InBody scale that I bought a few days prior. I returned the InBody because despite the high cost, it gave me 5 different fat measurements in a few days, with extremely high % variation. The app also didn’t allow any PDF results download. I only could have a single line .cvs file! So I gave RENPHO a try, and am absolutely loving it. It is not just more precise (same % measurement over several days, matching my doctor’s professional measurement), but also has a VERY good app. Absolutely everything I need is in there, with measurements of muscle and fat divided by body parts, and a professional, complete PDF report to download. Or to mention that it is way cheaper than the other one. Highly recommended

Been using this for approx 3 weeks now and very impressed with it. We have 2 profiles set up and it works flawlessly in synching and tracking your measurements over these weeks. The app is slick and has a pleasant interface. Well worth the money and a definite recommendation from me.
