This may be remedied by a little lubrication of the seal, but I have not attempted that. The one drawback is that the metal bar the hinge is on is not fully encased in the housing plastic (see photo). It didn't flood at 120 feet. No interference with pictures. opening and closing took a bit of figuring out, but it's redundancy to prevent accidentally opening if, so I appreciate it. The clasp that hold the camera feel off a couple of times while the case was open. It didn't affect the seal, nothing is broken. It may have been designed that way on purpose to provide room to get the camera in and out. I couldn't figure out how/where to mount it for scuba.
