We used these for under cabinet lights. They're very bright and a nice, clean white. I had no problems connecting them to Google home. The specific reason we selected these lights: I needed something that could plug in, instead of needing a switch, but wanted it to be dimmable without having an ugly button or controller showing. I didn't want to use up the accessible counter outlets, either. The style of the plug and transformer allowed for placement behind the refrigerator and microwave. The smart dimmer allows for control by phone or voice, so no button showing and we didn't have to fish wire for a switch or other installation type. It solved all of out problems.

I purchased the Sumaote strip lights. At first glance, I said to myself, oh well, I will return these. But then, once I installed them, I said WOW. These are bright. So I'll photograph them in the evening. It was easier to photograph at dusk. These lights put off a lot of light. I installed them against one of the beams over my deck and they light my entire deck. I am really pleased. What a ton of light that I can turn It off or on, depending on the mood. So if I were inclined to replace them or do the install over again, would purchase the same lights. I would purchase the same quantity of strips.

Disliked: DO NOT CUT TO ADD A CONNECTOR. Rubber coating impossible to remove to add any kind of connector. Color is not what I personally call warm. The color they show on the Amazon site is deceiving. It didn't work for the way I wanted to install it under a deck facing down. Works fine for walls. YOU CAN'T ADD ANY CONNECTOR. The guy who answered to the connector question is NOT ACCURATE. IMPOSSIBLE TO GET OFF RUBBER COATING OFF. I TRIED EVERYTHING. IT WILL NOT COME OFF AND EXPOSE CONNECTION POINT.The Good: App works great. Set timers. Dimmable thru the app. Connects to WiFi easily. Works with Alexa. Music will make the lights dance if you turn on mic in the app.Final Thought: Just not the right product for my application. That's because they don't supply enough information or the information they do provide on the item on Amazon for this type of product is not always accurate.

Overall I am pleased with the product. The WiFi controller works well, and you get everything you need to get these working.Pros:-Cheap-WiFi and app work well-Works with Google home / home assistant-Everything needed in one packageCons:-The adhesive backing isn't the best, but that is to be expected.-The copper traces are thin. I had a hard time soldering to these.-They aren't as warm -white as I was hoping.-Power supply is noisy.

Once I figured out Red goes to plus and black goes to minus, the rest of the setup was easy and beautiful. The yardage is in abundance as well.

I got this LED light strip for my daughter. She had been wanting to highlight a mirror. This worked great for this purpose. My only suggestion is it needs to come with more instructions. With that said, we were very happy with the lights. It’s got numerous features and all work with your smartphone! So neat and easy. Now to get one for myself. Recommended by Michael.

I purchased the non-waterproof cool white strip with wifi controller. I was excited to try the wifi controller which set up very easy and worked great. The problem is with the LED strip. It is very flimsy and not of good quality. The solder joints were very sloppy. It starts off bright but loses it luster toward the end of the strip. Not acceptable. If they used a better quality LED strip this would be a perfect set. Returning these and purchasing the wifi controller separately with a better LED Strip.

Unfortunately, the color of these "warm white" lights, are more like a bright blue, but somehow have a soft pinkish hue to it, very similar to a florescent lighting. Not at all what I was looking for, but since it's all installed in my cabinets, I will have to live with it.The copper connections are super thin, and getting the silicon coating off the section to cut it, is very difficult without damaging the copper connector.
