Well well well, what can I say, this is NOT EVEN CLOSE to what I wanted or even what I was expecting........ IT IS MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN I EXPECTED, ESPECIALLY AT THAT PRICE!! This Rig is BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL!! It is BEAUTIFUL, WELL CRAFTED, DURABLE and the materials used are GENUINE AND HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS!! And to top it all off I got one heck of a bonus with it for free, it has my room smelling like a Leather Store!! **IT'S AWESOME!**My only issue or regret is that I didn't get a Double Holster, but I WILL EVENTUALLY when I have the extra money.I LOVE THIS HOLSTER! My Smith & Wesson Model 686, .357 Magnum with a 5" barrel fits perfectly in it. The end of the barrel stops evenly with the bottom of the holster and does not protrude beyond the holster. It's like they built the holster around my personal sidearm. The color is AMAZING, it's a Deep Rich Black with a nice shine to it. The .357 Mag rounds fit perfectly and snugly in the ammo loops. There are 31 loops around the rig. The leather is nice and thick.I could go on talking about this holster for a long time, IT'S AWESOME!! I would and will definitely suggest that anyone looking for a rig purchase one from Open Road Goods, you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!DID I MENTION THAT I LOVE THIS THING??!!

Holster and leatherwork was great! I went back and forth on what size to order ( I wear 38 jeans ) a size 40 or 42, I took a chance and ordered the 42, it fit me perfectly, so order a little larger than you think! The holster itself wasn't molded to any one gun, but after soaking it in some warm water for a couple of hours, then putting in my 357 Mag Ruger Vaquero ( 5 1/2 inch barrel ) I was able to mold it to my gun so it now fits like a glove! Over all, VERY happy with my purchase, would buy again.

I love this holster, but it wasn't the right fit. (size 36) That's my fault for not ordering a bigger size. I contacted seller and had a shipping slip to send back same day. I reordered what is hopefully the right size.UPDATE: received the new holster (size 40) and it's a perfect fit. It is beautiful and of course that new leather smell is awesome! I soaked the holster in warm water for a couple hours, put my S&W 686 in a zip-lock bag and fitted it to the holster. Let it sit overnight and now it's a custom fit. The nickel finish really pops in that black leather!

Really surprised by this rig. I did not expect it to be as supple as it was, and it really looks as good as the pictures- spot on as a matter of fact. The lining is new to me, almost 'wicking' material instead of unfinished leather which may come in handy in warm weather. Can't complain about the price to quality ratio, seemed about right on to me. It'll take some time for it to break in the way I want it, but that's how all good leather is. I'd recommend it for a casual shooter, not sure if it makes the grade for professional or competition use- but the price!

Could not imagine a better rig at any price, top quality all the way. I bought mine for a Colt Peacemaker replica made by Umarex. Has adjustable leg straps, and hammer strap, holds 30 rounds Actual size for umarex shells is the 357/38 Fit ok, but if turned upside down could fall out. thinking of soaking then drying hopefully will shrink a bit.I almost bought the $149 version sold on this site, which would have costed me $159 as I got a 50" belt size (at not extra charge here). I'm totally convinced that this one is every bit as good as those ones only at a little more than half the money. Totally happy I found this one. Highly recommend, couldn't be happier.

Delivery took longer than expected but that was due to the Post Office delays. The size is just how they describe it. I have a size 30 belt so I order a 34 and it fits perfectly and there is still more belt loops in case I loose or gain weight. I order my rig for a .38 special bullet and the bullets fit perfectly. The holster holds my 45 Long colt and my 357 Magnum guns perfectly. I added a cross draw holster and the rig is now complete. I would definitely recommend this rig to all cowboys and cowgirls.

Can't rate this product high enough. The leather working on this is beautiful. I had an issue with the leg tie - it was really short. I contacted the seller with a photo and they sent me another one within a couple of days. Great product and great service!!

I bought this for my son's birthday. He really likes it! I gave him my S & W 686PP 6'' barrel revolver awhile ago so I bought this for him to wear with it while at his deer lease in south Texas.I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it was delivered. It was delivered about a week sooner than the estimated delivery time.
