I bought this for my nephew and he LOVES it! However I feel it should come with 4 nerf darts. The poor kid can only get 2 shots and then he's running around to find them. So sometimes he just uses the blaster without the darts because he gets annoyed just chasing down the 2 darts. I get they want us to buy the larger dart pack, which I plan to, but for $40 buck, it really should come with 4.

This was a gift for my 11 year old son. He LOVES both Star Wars and Nerf! This gun has "blaster" sounds and shoots nerf darts. Both of which my son loves. The gun is small enough to run around the house with, but big enough for pure enjoyment. If your kid likes Star Wars and is into Nerf, I recommend this toy!!

My nephews loved them! They loved the laser sounds and how the tip glows purple when you load them. Even if they lose the darts they can still play with them because of the sounds. The 3 year old couldn’t cock the gun on his own, but the 5 year old had no problem.

Very nice nerf gun. My grandson loved that it made “shooting noises” he had a tough time pulling it back to shoot the darts (he’s only 3) but he plays with this gun all the time.

This is a very inexpensive addition to a nerf gun collection. Makes lazer sounds when trigger is pulled but its also a single shot which is the only draw back we have found so far.

My son absolutely loves this nerf gun! It makes fun laser sounds, lights up, and shoots far. Definitely a great purchase.

They don't really care about the shooting mechanism. It's good for younger kids who want to play pretend.

I review a lot of products on Amazon and I try to be accurate and reasonable even allowing for minor product defects etc. This arrived today and it was fast and at a good price. Fast forward to the end where my 6 year old is in tears because it stopped working after a half hour. Replaced the batteries and did what we could-- Nothing. Returning this item immediately. I will review the next one as well and edit this post for continuity if I am able to. So far this has been a heartbreak for my son and the product is cheap. Poor kid saved up his allowance and waited for this like Christmas day. Very disappointed.The replacement arrived the next day: +1 starLights and sounds remain functional: +1 star.Original review updated to 3 stars. Can’t give 4 because it was inconvenient to have to return.Would have given 5 if the original was like the replacement. For the price you pay you get great lights and blaster sound with each dart fired. Sounds like Han solo’s blaster pistol. Cool!
