I used an ohmeter to check the connectivity between each pin I needed and the stripped wire ends to be sure I got the correct connections. Stripping more insulation and soldering to the wires was easy. It's a nice connector for hooking up to my car... Fit the OBD2 plug securely. An upgrade and much better than the individual wires I was using before.
