For the price you get good value and piece of mind that your not contaminating the planet. Been of bamboo you will get a couple that break easy. I have had probably about 2000 of these with only a few damaged. I would and will buy these again. **Q: How the product is packed?** A: it's in 6 x 100 per plastic pocket and the 6 pockets are in a larger plastic bag **Q: If you are trying to be eco friendly by making the cotton buds out of bamboo why are they packaged in plastic rather than a cardboard box?** A: Recycle or repurpose the box. Johnsons do all paper buds now and they come in a plastic box too. Difference is that the paper ones don't maintain great structure, these do. The downside of these is that the bud ends could be better quality. **Q: How do you get cotton wool out of your ears?** A: If the cotton wool is dry it can carefully be removed with blunt tweezers.
