Not on mine however mine is the flexi zone style one from Neff and is faint even without it on. It's a pretty dense mesh. **Q: Can you still see the hob zones ?** A: No, not really. But the hob markings on my hob are not very bright. Still a good product, keeps the hob a lot cleaner. **Q: Does it melt? I used a different brand and it melted and I can’t scrub it off the glass with anything** A: No it does not melt and have used it for over a year. Just have to make sure any spills are wiped up immediately (any boil over) from the mat and underneath it. It’s been great and have recommended to others.
