I live in high in a higher floor flat, would this reduce noise from treadmill?

Slightly reduce noise from treadmill

Would it be suitable for a NordicTrack elliptical (cross trainer) with a incline feature or would the movement of the incline rip the mat?

Have used this mat under a treadmill with incline for past year with no problems. It’s on a wooden floor so muffles noise and doesn’t slide.
