Just what I was looking for! Great value for the price

This is a good size for capers, which are often used sparingly to add their flavor to other dishes. I especially like the wide lid of this jar. The grocery-store jars have this ridiculously narrow opening that doesn't even let me get a spoon inside the jar. The capers themselves are of good quality, and the jar will provide for plenty of recipes using capers.

I love capers on salads, charcuterie, seafood, pasta, sandwiches, eggs -- you name it. I'm not really a caper snob, but I do not like giant, mushy capers. Jeffs capers are always a consistent small size and never mushy. I also appreciate the wide mouth jar that can fit a spoon.

Does the job, for what it is

I ordered these because my membership club no longer had capers and the price in the grocery store was absurd. They came wrapped well in bubble wrap and no leakage. They are really good quality and larger size than what I was used to buying. Delicious! I have already purchased 2 additional jars to stock my pantry.

Thank goodness someone finally realized you need to put capers in a jar that you can get a spoon into. These capers taste great and you won't lose the brine trying to get a tablespoon of them out of the jar due to the wider jar size.
