My go to adhesive for backpack
This is a fantastic mender for my backpack. I have a special backpack of great sentimentality. I really should replace it but cannot find one with the same features I love. Tear Mender has so very nicely fixed tears and separation of seams. However, there are things to be aware of when buying:1) If you get the white mender, it dries white. If you get the clear, it dries clear. Other reviewers dinged the ratings unfairly.2) This is a single use product, meaning after you use it the next time it will be dried out or cap blocked and/or a strange odor. So don't buy a big bottle, buy several smaller ones.3) I have used this product on many items including sneakers, purses, jackets, dog leashes, camping gear and even clothing hems. Very versatile, but you have to be careful on your application. Do not just glop it onto the surface.

Sticky, white goo....what a dream!
So, it feels and looks like Elmer's Glue (what'd you think I was gonna say?) and works like a dream! I usually buy the fabric tape that you have to iron to activate. That stuff works but it's a pain to cut all the strips of tape and hope they stay in the right spot when you put the joining fabrics together and start ironing. So this fabric adhesive was a nice surprise. It did get a little messy when I pinched the joining fabrics together and the adhesive/glue would go thru the fabric and get on my fingers. But it was easy to clean off. One nice thing about this adhesive is that it made it very easy to mend tears that were close to seams. I had a butt pocket on some jeans that was shredded just enough that my phone would fall thru the hole. But it was right down by the seam of the pocket, which is why I hadn't fabric taped it...not enough room to put tape down and iron on a patch. This adhesive made it possible to glue on a patch right next to the seam. I've washed the pants several times since putting the patch on and it has held up nicely and doesn't feel weird or stiff as you might think glued fabric would feel. I've been very pleased with this fabric adhesive and how easy it was to use.

Good but not a final solution
I don't really write reviews but this item merits one. The solution is very watery so use it sparingly or you'll end up with a big mess. It doesn't bond as quickly as advertised but it does only take a few minutes. The end product is good BUT not a permanent solution. I used it on a nylon dog bag that started to tear, overall its holding up well but if I use my fingers to pull the fabric apart, it WILL come apart. I suggest using this to hold the fabric in place while you stitch it or as a temporary solution until you can have your item properly stitched. But overall, not a bag product for a few dollars.

Never Opened, Already Ruined, 0 stars
I’m really disappointed with this purchase. I bought this glue less than two months ago and hadn’t even opened it until this morning. When I finally went to use it, the glue was completely dried up and unusable. I did pull glue out of the bottle for photo and to see if it was the whole bottle, it was.On top of that, the seal was stuck inside the lid.For a product that was never opened and is still well within a reasonable timeframe, this is unacceptable. Total waste of money.

nothing beats Bish
the best fabric glue i can find. excelent for tacking pieces down so they dont shift while i sew, also great for locking the finish knot. dries as a soft rubber.

Eh
Not nearly as good as the description would lead you to believe. I'm in industrial maintenance and my shirts have company logo and name patches on them. The uniform supplier is so cheap that the patches are glued on instead of sewed. So after a few washes the patches started to come off, so I bought this. It works okay. Pretty liquid-y. I'll apply some, press the patch on real hard and then leave something weighted on it until it drys... Which takes a fairly long time. At least an hour. It will glue it back in but after a few washes it will start to peel off again.

The best fabric glue I’ve ever tried!
I use glue a lot. I use fabric a lot too. The problem is I hate to sew and will avoid it at all cost, so I’ve tried all the fabric glues and iron on things there are. This one actually does what it says! It truly was dry in 3 minutes! I haven’t washed anything yet, so I don’t know how well it holds up. Also I’m hoping that by washing it the discoloration I have in the fabric I glued will disappear. It’s not a big deal this time and I should have tested that first. One thing to be aware of is that the glue is very thin so make sure you’re working on a flat surface or it will run. Also it comes out very quickly.

I was really surprised at how well this stuff worked
I had a couple leather/kangaroo hide hats that needed some attention. The straps around the hat had become loose and were falling off in areas because of a lot of use on the hiking trails. These hats are expensive so simply replacing them did not seem reasonable. I bought the tear mender and gave it a try. This is good stuff.Tear Mender comes out of the bottle bright white and very thin. This surprised me. It is almost like water in consistency. Keep this in mind when applying because it can run very easily and get away from you. This also means a little goes a long way. One bottle will fix a lot of items. I did three hats and I barely used any at all. The white color will fade upon drying and it is not at all noticeable on my hats. The glue bonds very quickly. This is a good thing because you don't have to stand holding the mended item for 20 minutes. In a minute or two the bond is fairly strong. That being said, don't mess around when using this stuff. Be accurate when you are placing the two surfaces together. If you miss, you will have a hard time pulling the two pieces apart. As I said earlier, I used the tear mender on hats which are not put under a lot of stress. I don't know how it would work on jeans or shirts. However, the bond is strong and I think this product would work well in a lot of apparel applications.

Best on The Market
I was looking for the best fabric glue on the market. The seam of an outdoor beanbag was continuously being breached by polystyrene beans. I was tempted to throw the beanbag out believing it was not mendable as it is used by my daughter as a crash mat. Totally delighted with this product after numerous fails of other glues. It helps to peg or clamp the fabric together during adhesion but once set is both transparent, strong and flexible. I have not yet tried to machine wash it but great value for money if the product replacement cost is greater than the price of the glue.
