Outboard motor.
We bought this to motor down to our big boat mooring, a 25 minute trip down the river. It has been well capable of the job. It is not fast but fast enough and so quiet compared to an outboard. Cheaper too as we charge the battery up from our solar panels during the day. A good buy. Very pleased.

I haven't used it yet
Although I haven't used it on the water, I tank tested it, all worked OK. The quality of construction, controls an battery monitor impressed me. Its light weight is a real bonus. When I use it on my boat I will update.

Yes, a good buy.
It does what it says on the tin. Four of us just made an eight mile return trip down the River Vilaine (Brittany) in an eight foot GRP dinghy. It was very quiet and, even at full speed - not all that fast - the fuel indicator remained nearly full. That was our first try, I think it will propel a rather bigger boat (10-12ft) a little faster. My passengers werr quite impressed. I am quite pleased, but felt the small dinghy rather uncomfortable. We also tried it with a rubber tender, but felt it slower, possibly because of the weight of the battery on a flexible floor, despite the large board I mounted beneath it. It is easy to use, though rather tall.

Brilliant
Cracking little motor . I have ours on our Intex Mariner 3 and it’s a joy to motor round the lochs . It won’t break any speed records but it’s great for a relaxing boat around . I have mine hooked up to a 12v 100amh leisure battery . The one thing I would say is that , the manual recommends you instal a 50amp circuit breaker . This is easy enough but why not just add it in production .

Great electric outboard
Easy to use, plenty of power from the battery, and so far, hasn't used up much power after 2 uses . Great performance, and easy to transport, reasonably light to carry

Bison 40ft/lb Trolling motor
I use this motor on the Excursion 5, normally 3-4 people with battery and some bags - motor has no issues pushing the boat at a reasonable speed - only time the battery (not included) seemed to lose a lot of battery was when it was used for 8 hours one weekend, well worth the money and is very good for the price.

Well worth the money
Excellent wee motor for the price - my old motor cost £500 when new and this motor is every bit as good - drains battery quick if run full on but lasts lot longer if run one down from max also very light weight if carrying a distance to your boat

Brilliant piece of kit
I use this outboard for travelling about on the local river and canal, to and from our residential boat mooring. Attached to either a work raft or a repurposed Firefly sailing dinghy, this motor can match a brisk walking pace on max, and at lower power settings it trolls along genuinely surprising quite large fish .. not actually trying to catch them myself, but would be fit for purpose if I was.
