I bought it as a gift to someone but ended up not giving. Although, it is a good decoration but the music part is cheaply made and is not that great.

In the mode of the classic Gump's Christmas San Francisco cable car ornaments, City-souvenirs has 2 sizes for eager buyers. The 4 inch ornament ones offer lots of authentic details of the Powell & Hyde Street line cars. The six inch ones in addition offer music with a wind-up key. When visiting our 2 small grandsons in Northern CA recently, we added miniature decorations from a crafts store because he wanted them "to have presents" [like his father's from Gump's of several decades ago]. It was a fun activity and he loved playing with them after decorating them. The larger one is sturdier and will provide more play time than the smaller more fragile ones. Each can have decorations added to be more like the classic ones from Gump's. For all those who have great memories of San Francisco's cable cars!

I got this music box for my baby, I used to have one like it when I was a child and loved it. The packaging was nice and product itself is detailed, I think it would make a fun gift for a child interested in trolleys. However, the mechanics of the music box itself (the sound it makes) sounds spastic and twangy to me. Not soothing like the sound a higher quality music box makes.

Going to New York and bought this for the Hotel’s Manager,

It doesn’t play I Left My Heart in San Francisco , that can be identified as that song at least. Whatever tune I’d being played I’d unrecognizable
