MaguraHs33 R Rim Brakes Bicycle Brake

Installed these are rear brakes on a longtail cargo bike replacing low quality v-brakes. These are both amazing in performance and durability. I've had them installed riding year round without any maintenance. The original pads lasted almost 4 years. I have dual piston Shimano Deore XT front brakes with 203mm rotors in the front, and the HS33s have at least as much power and responsiveness.They are a little unique to setup, but Magura has good videos online. Also, due to the pad compound, they cause a good bit of wear to the rims.

I used this to replace a HS11 which came with a Kalkhoff e-bike. It worked great and it's definitely the best brake I've had in terms of braking power.

Good brakes, pretty easy to put on even if you don’t know what you’re doing. Will fit on most bikes and is very reliable :)

Bought these for my red line 30-year edition BMX bike these things stop me so fast that I had to lean back to put more expectations were met The only thing that was the downside was the packaging in the box could have been better. Other than that bad ass brakes

Hard to set up

I LOVE my Magura Hs33s! They are pretty grabby, but it only takes like a day to get used to. I do wheelies on my SE Big Flyer, so I need a reliable brake that can keep me safe and prevent looping the bike. These brakes fulfilled my wish and more! The feel is so clean and reliable and these work great. 100% get these brakes for your bike, especially if you're into wheelies. Best change in a part in my life.

I had ordered these for a bike of mine and was my first time trying these types of brakes out. I’ve used many disk brakes but never run brakes like these. I opened and it up and looked at the bolts and I saw that the bolt had been broken and the fluid went everywhere. I was outraged since this had end be happened before. I’m not sure if it was only my experience since other people say these are pretty good but I would still prefer disk brakes over these but just research before buying.

These are great brakes. Since they are hydraulic, I recommend to have them installed by someone you trust,since you might need to adjust the cable size and then you need more stuff to finish the work.So far very happy with them.

Aber Vorsicht, es ist und blebt eine Felgenbremse mit den typischen vor und Nachteile.Pros: Bremsleistung, Dosierbarkeit, geringer Momenteneintrag in die GabelCons: Temperatureintrag in das Laufrad (lange Bergabfahren in den Alpen, Schwarzwald schwierig) zumindest bei schwerem Fahrrad, bei Nässe verringerte Bremsleistung bis Felge wieder trocken gebremst ist (Verzögerte Bremswirkung)Wenn das Fahrprofil passt, eine Top-Bremse!Einsatz am MTB (ca. 95kg Gesamtgewicht) uneingeschränkt top, Einsatz am Tandem (ca. 160kg Gesamtgewicht), zusätzliche Schleppbremse auf dem Hinterrad mit einer Magura MT5 auf 180er Scheibe für längere Bergabfahrten, Hauptbremse VA/HA HS33!
