Though I was not able to boot up the computer, the return process was very simple. Machine was in excellent shape. Probably just a minor glitch.

I'm very pleased with the laptop. I have been using it for work for a couple of weeks now, it functions flawlessly. It is used/refurbished with windows 11 pro installed. The chassis looks great, the seller installed a dark gray/black sandpaper skin on it and I love it. The display looks flawless, no scratches or bruises. The battery works good, at the moment I have used it for 3.5 hours and it's at 62% with 5h 32min remaining according to windows. It is fast and it's running all the apps I need flawlessly. It came with a 65W charger DELL brand and it works perfectly. I'm very happy with the laptop and have no buyer's regret. I would buy another one from this seller.

The laptop showed up looking brand new. It was very safely packaged, although the outer box was a little too large. At first, the laptop didn't recognize the power supply, and I ended up using a power supply from an older laptop. I was unable to complete the setup on the computer, and after 7 attempts, I gave up and returned the laptop. The return process was straightforward. I am just waiting for UPS to pick it up. I purchased a second one that showed up on time, and after going through the same issues, I had to access it offline and then add my Microsoft account to access it. From the first access, it said Windows wasn't activated, but after hours of trying, the machine just locks up when I try to activate Windows. After working with computers for 45 years, and as a government cybersecurity and IT specialist, I have never had the problems I have experienced with the two of these computers exhibiting this behavior. It almost feels like a bad copy of Windows is being put on these systems. Edit: After digging into the machine, it is listed as a Windows 11 Pro machine and has an unactivated Windows 10 Pro on it. There are system errors preventing the update, activation and upgrade process.

Love my laptop! I needed to go to windows 11, I normally buy refurbished locally but the company has since moved farther away, so I thought I would give Amazon a try and the laptop is in very good shape and works well

This is an exceptional laptop. Looks new! It’s updatable to Windows 11. That’s what I was looking for. The update was easy. Just turn it on and go to Windows Update. The computer asked if I want to update to Windows 11. Say “Yes.” It does the rest. Not sure why the refurbisher didn’t do that already. Having Windows 11 on it might allow them to charge more for the product. I’m glad they didn’t. Everything is incredible with this machine with 2 exceptions. First, the charger that came with it blew fuses on my ground fault plugs. I called 2ndBazaar. They quickly refunded me an amount to replace the charger. I got a DELL replacement. Works fine. Played around with the original charger. Seems the problem is in the power cord that goes into the charger block. When I plugged the cord from the new charger into the old charger it didn’t blow fuses. Threw out the bad cord. Second, the on/off button. The black coating came off the first time I powered it on. So, I “prettied” it up by removing all the coating. Now I have a “white” lit up power button instead of a backlit black one. I’m okay with that. Incredible value for the price. Just what I need for business. Convenient size. Very happy overall. I’ll be setting it up with my browsers and bookmarks soon. I think this will work fine. It’s definitely an improvement on my current 12 year old laptop. Would have been 5 stars except for the things stated.

It’s a good value for the money. It looks brand new. Everything is functional including the backlit keyboard light (which I turned off). Fast power up and down. The keyboard has a nice feel to it. 16 GB of RAM is plenty for my purposes. I downloaded the Microsoft battery health app and it indicates the battery is at 67.44% capacity, which doesn’t sound great, BUT when on battery power for two hours it drained the battery to 60% of full charge. That’s fine with me, mostly because I use it plugged into the electrical outlet most of the time. No complaints here. I would recommend it and I would buy it again if their other laptops are this good.

I've had this computer for six months now, and it has been great. I tried to install X-Plane one it, but the video card is insufficient.

I ordered the Dell Latitude 5400 (refurbished). I needed a replacement for my travel laptop a Dell E7440 I bought over a decade ago. I didn't want to spend the money on a new one since I only use it occasionally. The refurbished computer came from 2nd Bazaar. The computer looked almost like new and I was excited to get it set up. I plugged the power cord in, which was working fine, pressed the power on button and nothing!. I've been involved in PCs since 1982 and went through all the recommended troubleshooting without success. I finally gave up and decided to return it for an identical replacement. The problem was, the replacement wouldn't be arriving for at least 2 weeks. I cancelled that order, shipped the defective one back and will see if Amazon properly credits my account and try one more time. I read all the reviews on refurbished computers and it's really a hit or miss proposition. It seems to run about 65/35 as to whether you will get a satisfactory unit or a lemon.
