The concept is awesome, however, the strap that goes around your tummy is WAY too narrow to look smooth over a soft tummy like mine. I tried different bras, I loosened straps, tightened straps, I wiggled into two pairs of Spanx to try and even it out...I tried everything, and there was still a VERY noticeable "gouge" across my tummy and it just kind of rolled wherever it wanted to go, especially when I sat down. There was good support where my breasts were concerned, but it made me look like I had two big soft tummies, instead of one (not a good look at all). I'm 5'2", 140 lbs and 36D. This is a review for the "regular-size", however, I ordered the plus-size too and had the exact same issue. This may be great for someone with a flat, firm tummy, but not for me.

I had previously purchased the maidenform converter, and it broke instantly, so I didn't have high hopes for this, but it completely worked! I only needed it to bring the back of my bra down about an inch, so it worked well for me.I know a lot of people mentioned that it was super tiny, and I'd agree. I weight 160, I think I'm usually a size 6 or 8, and it just fit when I made it as long as it would go. To give myself a little more breathing room, I used a bra extender on it (http://amzn.com/B00AN65UY2), which made it more comfortable, plus gave me the ability to make it go lower.Overall, I'm happy with the purchase!

I bought an open back dress I loved, so I had to get this bra adapter, however unenthusiastic I was about wearing it. Anyone who honestly expects something like this to be comfortable is asking too much -- I don't think you're going to find comfort in wearing your bra in this manner; it's simply not designed for that. But, stick-ons just aren't enough support for me, so this was necessary to do the trick. I didn't expect it to actually be comfortable, but it held it all together and I was satisfied with that. Luckily, I didn't have to wear it all day long, and got to enjoy wearing a dress I love.

Great solution - allowed me to wear a normal bra with a dress with a little keyhole back. I read some of the reviews before buying and was a little nervous about this working. The hooks did not match up exactly with the hooks on my bra... but the material is flexible and I was able to pinch it closer to make them fit. I was also nervous about the overall fit. It was OK for me but I wouldn't recommend this product for anyone larger than me. (I am a size 4). Not the most comfortable thing -- but ten times more comfortable than wearing a strapless bra.

It's a shame the seller or manufacturer doesn't give you some idea what size or how many inches long this item is because it is way too small for the average person. I ordered this for my daughter who is quite petite. She told me that no matter how she adjusted the straps, it didn't fit at all. This product is too small and has to be exchanged for the large size. Now it's going to cost me double postage, plus the headache of returning the item. This aggravation alone is the reason I'm giving the product only 3 stars.

I like these straps, they do the job. Unfortunately, you can't adjust the straps so they do tend to cut into any fat you might have around your midsection- which is where they need to be placed. I wish they could have made the straps wider so that it would act as a girdle on top of helping support your need to wear low back dresses and shirts. For what I needed them for, they worked. Not a fan of how tight they are that they cut into me a little bit, not very flattering when you're wearing a tight dress.

It works as described, you hook it onto you bra, wrap it around your belly and hook it behind your back for a lower bra strap on your back. However, this doesn't mean its comfortable or flattering. With the dress I wore it, which was loose and had layers of fabric, the strap worked really well, and you couldn't see it digging into my stomach, however, it was so uncomfortable, I ended up taking it off in the middle of the night, and covering up my back with a sweater instead.

The quality of this item is great: feels fine on bare skin, stays hooked to my bra well, hasn't stretched out. My only problem with it is more a problem with the mechanics of any of the same item: It doesn't work for those shirts or dresses with mid to low back revealing cut outs. It definitely works well for anything that has a little extra drop down the shoulder blades, though.

I did not like this product as even though I am a size 8 the loosest the strap would go was still very tight so I am not sure how people who are a little bigger would wear it!Also although it pulls it down a bit in the middle of the strap it does not at all at the sides, which surely would be necessary with most outfit choices which require this?Overall I was not very happy with this product, but it may be good for some.

Attaches easily to existing bras, and it is easy to do up at the front. However, I found even in the loosest position, it was quite tight on me (I am a size 12, so not that big!) The strap gave a visible line around my waist, when wearing a clingy dress. It did make the position of the strap on my bra much lower at the back, but it didn't stay there all night, it needed regular readjusting!

I wear a lot of low backed dresses and thought this would be perfect to stop my bra showing but they only lower the straps a tiny bit so I found them useless.

this is a great item if you are a size 8/10/12 but anyone bigger than this is obviously not supposed to be wearing it because the straps are definately not long enough to go around to the front and fasten comfortably.maybe they come in different lengths for different sizes but i never read any of this.sorry but cannot recommend for larger ladies but fine for small ones.
