I bought this to make life just that little bit easier in the kitchen, but definitely had my reservations about whether I'd regret this or not.Good news, no regrets. German design's reputation is intact. The lid lifts off easily and clicks shut one-handedly without any sensations of it being flimsy or easy to break.Most of the functions are intuitive, although I have noticed there seems to be a specific way to change how the child lock works, so I'll have to look in the manual for that.Descaling it was a bit faffy. I used some coffee machine descaler and some vinegar. It worked out easier to lift the urn and tip the water down the sink to rinse away the remaining "eggshell" type pieces. But, all things considered, still preferable to the almost weekly descaling of a regular kettle. This water dispenser can manage over a month without needing descaling, and I live in a very hard water area.Benefits: hot water on tap for cooking with. Hot drinks available without hovering around waiting for the kettle or perpetually walking off and forgetting about it. Useful with guests as you're not leaving them sitting waiting for a long time and can spend more time enjoying their company.I also have chronic disabilities that make life just a little bit more clunky, and having something like this shave minutes off every day is absolutely priceless.

It was fine in the first few months but its completely broke after 6 months. Sad

Value for money, keep up

Looks great and stylish. Do boiling well. One uncertainty is the usage of electricity. Not sure if consume a lot of electricity if using keep warm function for long. Can the manufacturer answer my questions please?

It’s actually bigger than I thought. However does what it’s meant to do and that’s so handy. So far I have had it a few months and it’s still working great.

It's more for catering purpose

comes with lots of different temperature settings as mentioned in the listing, size is quite nice for a bedside table or just on your desk. definitely a good buy

Took a long time to get rid of the awful plastic taste. Still getting it faintly. It's good enough but for the taste. I don't think I'd buy it again.
