How much does the material shrink? I have 8' to cover, is 10 feet wide wide enough after shrinking? Thanks!

Yes, because you don’t shrink it until after it’s applied and taped around the edges, it’ll draw up tight when you shrink it.

Is this translucent / see through film

Hi Rod, The White Shrink Wrap is not translucent or see through.

Will this work with a standard heat gun

You need to use a propane fired heat tool.
