Nice tent for a bargain price
I am an old geezer whose glory backpacking days were in the 1970's. My son's recent interest in backpacking got me back on the trail. The one man tent I was using was too confining and physical infirmities made it difficult to get in and out. My son convinced me to get a 2 man tent. Of course he has one that only weighs 2.9 pounds. I was not going to spend that kind of money. I did a lot of research and decided that I needed to find a well made tent that weighed about 4.5 pounds for less than $ 175. I was coming up dry. I went on Amazon Canada to see what Canadians were using and discovered Yanes tents. I found a couple of reviews and decided to take a chance. Total cost was $100.53. I received the tent and was pleasantly surprised. Quality construction and it weighed exactly what they said it would. It takes up more space than my 3 pound one man tent but sleeping in it is luxurious. With the 2 vestibules 2 average size people could sleep in this tent without issue. Don't hesitate to get one. the only issue I have is the 2 vents on the top of the tent lay flat and you have to make something to keep them open. I used a short pieces of dowel with self stick Velcro on both ends
