Does it stay in place I have one and it slides down my leg and I have to continually readjust it

This unit stays in place, primarily because of the two straps that hook to a belt around your waist. I wear a gun belt separate from the belt on my trousers and the tactical holster has not moved in more than a few physical situations. It even managed to not be ripped from my leg as I barely missed being peeled from the side of a moving vehicle. It is a very stable way to carry a side arm.

Will it fit a sig 320 compact with a foxtrot 1x light?

Sig? Yes. Light? No. The person I gave this to just seated his sig p320 xten and it locked in solidly with just the tip of the muzzle sticking out.

Will this fit a Beretta M9

It fits but will not secure (lock into place).
