Great long pins, exactly what i was looking for!

I am so happy that I found these thick and long bobby pins. I use these to anchor hair curlers in my hair. I used to have pins like these, but I don't know where they went! It took me a long time searching on Amazon for the right ones. The first ones I ordered were thin and short. I received these yesterday and they are just what I want, so I have ordered another set. I hope this review will help others looking for the good old long and sturdy bobby pins. You have found them!

What happened to the strong hair pins that I used to buy? You know - the big ones that could secure a lot of hair in a twist or even hold up an old style roller. I think you can see the difference in the photo I attached between the new black ones and the older ( metal ) ones. When I started to run low, I began shopping for more. Finally, after buying several different brands and sizes, I found these 3 inch pins on Amazon and, as described, they were the length I was looking for. But like almost all that I had already purchased, they are not as strong (or thick) and are so flimsy! I'm beginning to doubt that anyone makes the quality that I'm looking for ...so in the mean time these will have to do.

Ok I give up they just don't make bobby pins like they used to. The old ones were much strurdier. These are mad of very thin metal and are sprung after a few uses. If only I had bought more in the old days they lasted for ever. It is what it is you can't buy good ones so you just buy these thin little things they are sprung in a month or so and you buy more of the thin ones and wait. Ground Dog Day.

Not 3 inches long. These were plain old small Bobby pins and the tips weren’t even reinforced. I have long hair and was looking for a longer Bobby pin. These were short, thin, and actually hurt when I tried to use them. Not a all what I wanted / needed.
