It might to be my perception, but I'm sure these broke more easily than higher priced versions do. For example I had a batch of the pricy version from last year that we'd dry out, store and reuse for nearly a year. Until they broke. So we thought to try these ones and while they were fun and cheap and colourful, they started to break apart within the day.

The water beads were easy to use, just add water. I bought them for sensory play with children and feel they would have looked nicer without the black and white beads. Apart from that excellent value and will probably be buying again in the future.

Bought for my toddler to play with. She’s entranced with how they change in size and enjoys playing with them. This is the second set we’ve bought as they do start to shrink after a while, but such good value that I’m not bothered. Perfect for toddlers and young kids in lockdown.

These are very cute and I like themIt was easy to use just put them in clean water and they will do the rest itselfI was expecting a little bit more in package because when they became big they were not the amount I was expecting otherwise cute something very decorative and unique

Really like these, seeds sprouted and have good strong roots. Nice to play with too!!!

They started off fabulous for about a week.... And then they went FURRY!!! And from that point forward, there was no hope-- I had to wash them daily thereafter with antibacterial dishsoap to remove the white 'fur' growing on the beads. Arghh.Please note, my home is warm and dry as it's a new build.... So I honestly didn't expect these to go mouldy in the first place, let alone remain that way!I honestly just got fed up and chucked them out as water for flowers seemed a metric ton simpler to manage than this high attention product!Product DESPERATELY needs an antibacterial agent!!!

I was a bit surprised when the order turned up and it was a teeny tiny bag of really small bead like balls. I’ve never ordered the before or how they worked so I didn’t know what to expect. There was no instructions with it so I had to take a guess and just tipped them in to a big mixing bowl of water filled 3/4 to the top. After an hour or so they got a tiny bit bigger and started to think they were rubbish, come evening time they expanded to the size of marbles. I drained the water the next day and left them in the bowl for my son to play with and he absolutely loved them, played for hours! Please bare in mind they bounce like bouncy balls and feel a bit slimy so tidying them up was a nightmare. I gave 3 stars purely because I think there a bit pricey for what it is. We wasn’t able to reuse them because the crush easily into like a slush and my son didn’t understand he wasn’t supposed to do that.
